Hello, I'm Andrew, Gunnihilation's designer. Sorry things have gone silent recently, but Robo Pixel Games is shutting down. We've been trying to figure out a way to keep things going but we finally reached a point where we had to admit we couldn't continue.
However, we would still like the game to be available, and are currently looking into keeping the game on Steam for free (although now lacking updates).
Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us and given us their help, advice or feedback, from steam users to youtubers and twitch streamers to the other developers we've met during our travels. It was a fun ride and I'm still proud of what we were able to create.
We will post again once we know exactly what's happening.

Winter Gunderland Xmas content released
Welcome to the party, pal!
Christmas has come again and Santa's sack is bulging with festive cheer. Our Christmas content bundle "Winter Gunderland" is now live on Steam. It includes;
Expanded options menu
Two new player characters - Santa and the Abominable Snowman
Ten new levels playable solo or local co-op
A new screen-filling boss
You just need to make sure Gunnihilation is up to date on Steam and you're good to go.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Merry December one and all! We have been busy bees since our spoopy Halloween content and we'd like to give you a glimpse at what we have planned for the near future.
As is tradition, we have a bumper harvest of free content updates coming soon to Gunnihilation. More details and screenies will come over the weeks leading up to Christmas, but for now we can announce a few of the features scheduled for the release.
Coming up this Christmas
Christmas mission: another series of festive levels similar in length to the Halloween content that will see you ruining the mountain-top office party of a rival organisation
Massive new screen-filling, bullet-spewing boss battle in the skies
A new player character will be joining the team
Christmas achievements (what's the point of Christmas otherwise?)
All the current enemies are given a potent injection of festive cheer
Christmas presents giveaway!
As for current improvements, we’ve added a few technical changes to the game already;
Startup time is faster
Added options to display player hitboxes and tweak analogue stick deadzones

The Witches and Boomsticks update is now on Steam!
Additions
New Halloween themed Adventure. Contains two acts of levels (with some unique enemies) and a final boss.
Halloween themed survival level.
Unlockable 'Pumpkinhead' playable character. Complete the Halloween levels during the Halloween period to unlock him.
First batch of Achievements are now available.
Trading cards are now live.
Fixes
Frenzy damage has been tweaked slightly.
The final area of Lab2-2 has been made easier on easy and medium.
We hope to update soon with an update adding some more survival challenges and a new weapon, stay tuned.

It’s Spooktober! In the rich tradition of video gaming since time immemorial we are going to be haunting you with some extra spooky content on top of the promised content for the core game.
We proudly present the Witches and Boomsticks content update!
Gird your gobloins and polter your geists, it’s about to get spooky.
Coming this Halloween, the Witches and Boomsticks content update will contain;
A Halloween mission with three full acts, unique enemies and a never-seen-before boss
An explosive new weapon
A spooky new survival level
First batch of Steam achievements
Community-driven balance changes
Laser bats

Update 2016/9/25
Here's some notes on what changed in today's update. Only one level was added I'm afraid, the other level was not ready, so the level structure has not been adjusted yet.
Additions:
> A third level has been added to the Train yard. The act now transitions more smoothly to the Train itself.
Changes:
> Main Boss medium and hard difficulties are now slightly easier.
> Main Boss absurd difficulty is now harder.
> Main Boss now has a Checkpoint between phase 1 and phase 2.
> Reduce amount of Frenzy fuel that can be retained when a Level 1 Frenzy fades from 50% to 25%.
Fixes:
> Enemies no longer spawn out of bounds on Train Yard level 2.
Small Update coming on Sunday 25th September
Just a heads up we will be updating the game on Sunday. The update will add a couple of missing levels, shuffle the current level order a little and fix a few issues.
We plan to shift our focus after this update to the Level Editor so we can get that to you asap. This will mainly involve fixing some UI issues and covering up various ways the editor can allow you to break the game.

We don't foresee any major problems with our launch but just to be on the safe side for the next few days we'll be keeping a very close eye on the forums.
