The Single-player update is finally here! CPU players are now available for local matches.
The game build has been updated to #6. Patch notes are below.
AI is very complex to make so we'd love to hear feedback. We'll be frequently updating and improving bots until launch.
Bots for lan and online matches are planned.

Patch Notes - Update #5
Update 5 is now available for both PC and Mac.
FIXED:
- Fixed issue where quitting an online match would not clean up correctly and still be shown as a join entry.
- Fixed bullet desyncronization with clients. This was most noticeable with high latency.
ADDED:
- Added fire sound to the Tracker.
There are a lot of things to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. Most noticeably:
- Configurable win conditions.
- Bots!

Patch Notes - Update #4
Another round of bug fixes. Build is now Update 4.
FIXED:
- Fixed issue where Unet would disconnect all players due to bandwidth limit.
- Fixed an uncommon issue where players would appear dead at the start of a new round.
- Fixed timescale not resetting when exiting the pause menu on local matches.
CHANGED:
- Network traffic has been greatly reduced.
- Weather is now randomized.
Online should be more stable now, but as always if you come across any bugs let us know. Next update should include some bullet syncronization fixes.
Patch Notes - Update #3
Hello everyone.
We've been working over the weekend to fix some of the game-breaking bugs on network matches.
FIXED:
- Fixed issue where the loading screen would not clear on the first round of a match.
- Fixed issue where the hud would not spawn due to network discrepancies with the host.
- Fixed issue where the round over music would carry on to the next match on clients.
- Fixed issue where players could choose duplicate characters.
CHANGED:
- Reduced player syncronization data size.
- Player syncronization tick rate is now 20hz.
These should apply to both online and lan modes.
Patch Notes - Update #2
Hi everyone.
The game's latest build is now 'Update 2'.
FIXED:
- Fixed issue where the round over menu would not display due to bullets outside the match area.
- Fixed issue where the roundbreaker fire would add a point to the first player.
CHANGED:
- Matches in progress are no longer listed in the Join menu.
- If a player enters a match currently in progress they will be disconnected.
We'll add the ability to join matches already in progress in a future update.

Patch Notes - Update #1
Hi everyone.
Sorry for the bumpy start. I'm already working on fixing issues, starting with online matches.
The current game build is now 'Update 1'.
FIXED:
- Fixed issue where online listing showed ghost matches.
- Fixed issue where clients could not open the pause menu.
There's an issue where players can join matches already in progress. If this happens the map will not load and will be replaced with black. This is next on the list, but as a workaround clients can now exit the match via the pause menu.
Lan and local matches should not have quite as much problems. If you encounter a bug please let us know.

Guns N' Boxes is out!
Finally, Guns N' Boxes has been released for purchase on Steam Early Access. We hope you enjoy the game with your friends and try to remain friends after playing. Multiplayer does things to people.
Anyway, it's a glorious day here at the studio. There's still a lot of work to do, though, and you, members of the Community, can help!
If you find bugs (which we're not even pretending there aren't gonna be), please report them to us, especially to Mauri (programmer), so we'll be able to begin fixing them as we continue to add content (weapons, game modes, graphic improvements, characters, stages) to the game in the meantime.
If you have suggestions, thoughts, critics or improvements for the game, post them too. The purpose of this Early Access is to make this the best game we can with YOUR help. You guys matter, and we want you to know your opinions are always welcome.
