For full patch notes, please see the bottom of this announcement!
Hello everyone,
Firstly, I just wanted to thank everyone who has picked up my game so far. I am incredibly happy to see people enjoying the game, and appreciate the support!
Since the game's release a few days ago, I have gotten a lot of great feedback from the community. Some players have correctly identified some issuess with some game mechanics, which I hope to address here.
It seems that some players were frustrated about the fact that weapons would be automatically picked up if the player touches them. This would result in unwanted weapons being picked up, and could lead to some very unfortunate situations (those of you who have accidentally picked up a new weapon after plunging into a horde of zombies with the Ripper know what I mean).
To solve this, today I am releasing a new update for GUNS 'n GUTS which comes with the option to disable the automatic picking up, or switching, of weapons. You will now find an option called "Weapon Autoswitch" in the settings menu (which is toggled on by default). If toggled off, the player will no longer automatically pick up weapons off the ground. Instead, the player must manually pick up weapons by pressing Right Mouse Button when they are near a weapon. Keep in mind that ammo and other non-weapon items will still be picked up automatically even if this option is toggled off. Of course, if you still prefer to automatically pick up weapons, you can simply leave the Weapon Autoswitch option toggled on.
Hopefully, this helps to resolve some troubles that some of you may have been having!

Evil is Coming
The hordes of Hell are approaching soon. Are you prepared?
Hello all,
After a lot of hard work, I am pleased to announce that players will be able to mercilessly slaughter the forces of Hell when GUNS 'n GUTS is released on November 12th. If you haven't already, you can add GUNS 'n GUTS to your Steam wishlist from the game's store page. The game will be $0.99 (USD) upon release (or your local equivalent).
While developing this game, I drew a lot of inspiration from the old-school shooters of the '90s, as well as the simple (yet addicting) online flash games that we all used to play when times were simpler. I wanted a game that was conceptually easy to pick up, yet difficult to master. The result was GUNS 'n GUTS: An over-the-top, violent, gritty, and action-filled shooter. With this game, I hope to deliver an experience that is fast, challenging, and of course, fun.
So get ready to spin up those miniguns, and keep those pump-action shotguns handy.
Come November 12th, I hope to see you all mowing down as many zombies and demons as you can!
