Special Operation: Launcher Laughs Last!
Attention soldiers! Starting on Friday, Feb. 9th @ 12pm Pacific and running until Friday, Feb. 23rd @ 12pm Pacific, Special Operation: Launcher Laughs Last will be in full swing! During this Spec Op, we’ll be rewarding a Lvl 1 Damage Perk for every 20 Structures destroyed by your Grenade Launchers! So if you haven’t had him in your line-up in a while, be sure to get your Grenade Launcher in to tip-top shape then get him out on the battlefield during Special Operation: Launcher Laughs Last in GUNS UP!

Attention soldiers! Alliance Battle Season 16 is underway! So round up your troops and head out to the battlefield to show the rest who's the best in GUNS UP!
Pathfinding change coming in 3.40 Update!
Attention Soldiers! The GUNS UP! team is hard at work on the next update and we wanted to give you a heads up on one of the planned changes. We have seen some comments pointing out a few bases which can exploit the AI by sending them into long treks down dead-ends or into dizzying circles. We intend to change some AI pathfinding behavior that we expect will improve many of these situations. Our goal is to continue to reward players who create clever defenses while still reducing tactics which feel unfair to attackers.

Overhauled CPU Defend mode and implemented a score based leaderboard
Added server features that decrease subsequent loading times for those with high latency internet connections to the game server
Fixed an issue where tents and HQs would show a blocked spawn icon when the spawn wasn’t blocked
Changed the requirements for the Steamroller mission from 15 victories to 7
Fixed an issue where reload speed for hats would show -3% instead of +3%
Fixed an issue where swapping stick controls took away navigation on the map screen
Fixed an issue where the Badge of Honor trophy/Achievement wouldn’t unlock for a small group of players
Added additional information to user-facing ban messages
Updated and implemented additional anti-cheat measures
Fixed an issue where the “Rarity” text would appear twice in the barracks
Fixed a number of translation issues in various menus and screens
Fixed an issue where the alliance banner of an attacking player would appear incorrectly via defend reports
Fixed a situation where the game would force users out of the defeat screen during a test base or friends attack
Fixed a network issue that caused some players to receive an error when playing friend battles

Fixed a bug with AMD graphics cards that prevented players from being able to navigate the map screen and select the ‘Attack’ button with the mouse.

Fixed slow scrolling speed with the mouse wheel in the units tab of the Player Profile
Fixed an issue where players were unable to select “place” on the build inventory screen
Fixed a problem where the defend wave icon is not clickable while in build mode
GUNS UP! Servers are back up!
The GUNS UP! servers are back up and the 3.30 Update is live. Head out to the battlefield and check it out, then let us know what you think right here in the forums!
GUNS UP! Sneak Peek! New CPU Defend Mode!
Attention Soldiers! The incoming GU! 3.30 Update is bringing BIG changes to CPU Defend mode! We’re introducing an entirely new scoring system which will test your strategic command as you try to dispose of as many units as possible in 20 minutes.
With CPU Defend’s new score-based leaderboard, enemy units will grant points when killed. The more units you can weather, the higher your point total will be. You’ll also want to tactically place your specials, as multi-kills will now grant high point bonuses. Just don’t get too comfortable in the trenches! The enemy waves will now use specials of their own to break your line of defense! The current CPU Defend leaderboards will be archived on the GUNS UP! website so that they can be referenced in the future.
It’s a brand new day for GUNS UP! CPU Defend! Who will be the first to capitalize on the enemies’ weaknesses and climb to the top of the leaderboard!?

Announcement! Veteran Exploit Fix
Attention Soldiers! Last night the GUNS UP! team implemented server checks at various points in the game and during login that will trim excess Veterans. This means if a player earns Veterans past the limit, they will not keep them for defense or for attacks. This will put an end to bases with dozens of Veterans, and attackers who can deploy vets far beyond what was intended.
Please let us know if you come across any more veteran issues and we will address them. Thanks!
