The new update now adds a more interesting Daily Leaderboard to the game. It now shows your completion time for the daily challenge.
Every day a new leaderboard is created, so every time you will be able to show your speed-running skills by completing the Daily in the shortest time!
The update also pushes some new changes for controller support as I continue to try and squash all the controller problems.

Trading cards, badges, leaderboard, fixes, and improvements
I finally managed to get this update ready for shipping.
There are now leaderboards (in-game) for Arcade-mode and a "completed Daily run" board that shows who the best daily challenger is.
Further more the requested Steam trading-cards with badges and everything that comes with that have been activated, so you can now collect a few trading-cards and see if you can unlock some cool badges.
Also added a host of fixes and improvements to the game, controller support and more. Here's the full list of things:

A new update with some minor fixes and changes. For those with sound issues (where the music just stopped) let me know if this fixed it, or if it at least happens less often.
New addition are statistics for the daily challenge, the screen stays a bit longer so you can grab (and post) screenshots from your Daily Challenge results.
The statistics show the amount of runs you tried before completing it, the time of the completion run, and the total time put into the completion.

Today a bug!
Oops, today's challenge comes with a bug that makes it impossible to complete the level! Perhaps this is the way the game wants you to take a break on Sunday from the Daily challenges.. come back tomorrow!

Update 1.2.0 - Daily Challenges
Daily challenges are here!
You'll find a new door in the game hub and it's will supply you with a challenging level every day! You have one life, one level, and one day to complete it. Everybody gets the same level, so see if you can beat your friends !
The Daily challenges also come with new achievements for 1, 5, 10 and 30 challenge completions, so make sure to beat the Daily challenges every day to unlock those!

Daily challenges
I plan to upload a new build in a few days with various small improvements, changes, fixes and a "Beta" of the Daily Challenges mode.
Daily challenges explained
The Daily Challenge is a single building level, that you'll get to complete only once a day. The current test levels are pretty hard tho, so you should have a very nice challenge in them, and that's kinda the point!
Everybody has the same daily challenge level, but the way you play it (shoot a soldier or let him live) can change the outcome of the level.. so it's worth trying different tactics!
The first version won't have achievements attached yet, until I'm sure everything works as it should.
Later I'll add achievements for completing X amount of challenges, so you got something to aim for ;)
Gunslugs 2 released, now what?
Hope you guys are enjoying the game! If you run into problems or glitches please let me know in the forums. I might not respond to everything, but I do read most things and will look into either fixing any bugs or taking a good look at ideas and changes you guys think could improve the game.
I have some minor update ideas on my list, but I also have a bigger update that will hopefully give you guys even more play-time with this game.
I'll be putting some time into adding "Daily challenges", basically it will be a one-tower level and you get one life, one weapon, and a task to destroy the tower. I will add achievements for completing daily challenges, multiple challenges, etc.
So stay tuned as I work towards the first update, and enjoy the game ;)
