Leaderboard Update

- New scrollable leaderboards that show stage progress & character used
- Changed tutorial progression, only the Gunvein Basics tutorial is mandatory now
- Fixed boss timeout crash
- Added an invincibility cancel to make scoring less frustrating (quickly tap both shot + lockon twice when invincible)
- Added fragment count set up into practice mode
- Some other small fixes/tweaks

Emergency crash fix

Roguelike mode had a nasty crash, it should be gone now

Quick fixes 2

- Fixed a rare softlock on stage 1 right before midboss, and sometimes right after
- "Reset progress" setting now asks for a confirmation
- Roguelike mode now always gives you at least 1 bomb/lock on weapon at the beginning
- Corrected the ship names in the in-game leaderboards
- Music track titles now show up in-game

Quick fixes

- Fixed the crash when opening leaderboards
- Fixed broken unlocks after using the "reset progress" setting
- Added the ability to disable the skull side bar in normal mode
- Fixed the Final Boss mission not clearing properly
- New achievement

Gunvein Release Date 11th November

We are happy to finally have the release date for our first PC/Steam game.
Gunvein releases on Steam this Friday 11th November.

Gunvein DEMO update

Demo changes:

  • Arcade mode + online leader boards
  • Full 360 screen rotation + an option to link controls to rotation
  • Analog controls when using gamepad
  • More in depth effect settings
  • Redesigned stage 1 (and the other stages)
  • Adjusted enemy & boss difficulty
  • Changed ship balancing, Type B should no longer be as dominant
  • Consistent gold medal spawns, reworked bombs & hypers
  • Score Rush is easier to clear
  • Progress bars on arcade & roguelike modes
  • Lots of smaller adjustments
