New Player Aesthetics, Performance Boost and Big QoL Changes
Hackshot Version 1.03 Update:

An overhauled gameplay UI, to better show important info for gameplay.
Huge performance boost, the game now runs up to 5 times faster on some complex levels.
Lots of extra polish, new SFX and effects.
Difficulty curve smoothing for late game.

New Hacker Aesthetic options, unlockable by achieving certain feats.
Additional dialogue branches to make the dialogue more interactive.
New "Ascended" hacks.
New secret win phrases.

New sound effects for some late game modifications.
A lot of sound balancing and a few changes to certain sound effects.
Analysis screen now shows stars in addition to their required scores.
Ball score data are conveyed using a chart now instead of text.
New hit direction indicators for dynamic bodies, and now, the indicator has a different shape if the direction is unpredictable.
Cycling mods using key buttons now shows the shortcut keys on screen. Additionally, if the mod is unavailable, an audio que is played and the modwheel will open to show the available mods.
Buttons without shortcuts has dimmed symbols to lower the visual clutter on screen.
New mouse confine options, especially useful for multiscreen setups.

Dialogue speed option can now be accessed easily.
Hacker mode display fixes, now, it will be applied correctly when screen display is not set to Window mode.

There have been some small updates (1.001, 1.002 and 1.003) before, however, 1.004 is a big one.

I am not one for many words really, I just want to thank everyone for their support and feedback over these past 3 years. And with this one, I have released 5 games so far, I can't believe it

Pre-Release Testing
I have started the pre-release testing for Hackshot, now that it is as polished as ever (barring few things here and there), you are invited to give it a shot.
With this new update, you can reach much deeper into the system than before. You can now unlock new abilities for all levels, and collect data you weren't able to reach before.
This also opens up the game much more, doubling the content and tripling secrets you can find.

Metroidvania Fusion Festival
That's right, Hackshot is taking part in the current running festival, Metroidvania Fusion https://store.steampowered.com/developer/ravenage/sale/metroidvaniafusion
But wait, is Hackshot a Metroidvania?
The short answer is no, however, the new update brings the Metroidvania-inspired aspects in the game to the forefront. They can be found within the first 20 mins now !!!
No spoilers, just go explore like a real hacker, the demo is right there ...
2 players have already finished the game, and reached the end screen, one of those legendary hackers also managed to even 100% the game.
With the help of these players and dozens more along the years, the game has shaped up much better and more expansive than what I originally planned, and around 39% of the cool additions were found or suggested by the players.
