Horde Mode V1 is Out!

Hi all,

Thanks for all the support and feedback. I hope my change will improve your experience with Hammer of Virtue. Today I release the first version of the Horde Mode. It is only one map so far since I want to get feedback from the audience, and I also need to check for bugs. Please let me know what you think.

Patch Notes:
1. Horde Mode on the construction level including leaderboard.
2. Bug fixes on the dark level
3. Bug fixes with the Japanese language.

Patch 4: New Enemy

I have added one new enemy to level 6 to make the level more fun please let me know what you think. See below for patch notes.

On the next patch I will focus to implement the Horde Mode. After that I will create Hard mode.

Patch 3: the Impact patch!

In Patch 3 I have focused on stronger impact from destruction. Thank you everybody for all the support and constructive feedback. Since I am now treating this game as an Early Access game I have lowered the price for those who have already purchased the game can contact me on jens@nopestproductions.com for compensation in terms of access to my other games.

Bigger enemies are now more susceptible to fast debris, becoming stunned upon impact. This means leveraging the environment will prove even more advantageous. The T-Rex and Spinosaurus has also been nerfed. Since the game now is getting easier, I plan to create a Hard Mode at a later date.

Roadmap right now.

1. Polish and further improvement of destruction
2. Maybe change some of the more boring levels
3. Horde Mode
4. Hard Mode

Patch Notes
1. Bigger enemies now have an extended stun duration from debris.
2. Trex is slowed down
3. Spinosaurus is slowed down
4. The bear's ragdoll can now interact with and damage other objects and enemies.
5. More stones on the forest levels.

Patch 2 Performance Improvement and Damage from Buildings

Hi All,

This time I have focused on improving the general performance. I have rewritten a lot of the damage system in order to get the framerate up. This has also made it possible to make the enemies more sensitive to crashing buildings.

The game has become significant easier so I will add a Hard mode at a later date.

in the next patch I will focus on making the enemies be more stunned in they are hit but quick flying debris. After that I plan to focus on Horde Mode.

Patch 1 and Roadmap

Hi All,

First of all, thanks everybody for the great constructive feedback. This is the first patch of many.

The biggest changes:
1. The bears now also take damage if you hit them from far away.
2. Enemies also takes more damage when houses fall down on them however this was quite heavy for performance so I could not fully implement this feature. I will work on it more.
3. The Lock-On Bug is fixed

Roadmap:

Next Patch will focus on performance and future improve damage when building fall on top of enemies.
Bigger things that I plan to implement in later updates include Horde Mode and Hard mode to increase the length of the game.

Patch Notes:
1. The bears now also take damage if you hit them from far away.

3. The Lock-On Bug is fixed.
4. You now go directly to the next level when you finish a level instead of going to the menu.
5. The first T-Rex level includes an explainer on how the kill the beast.
6. Sound in the 2 player versus mode is fixed.
7. You can now restart the game in the pause menu.
8. Some general bug fixes including a sound bug.
