Howdy pardners, we bring you good tidings: the new Hard West 2 After Dark Update is now live! This update includes free additional new content and player-requested balance tweaks.
To celebrate the release of this new update and the spooky season, we’re also offering a special 20% discount from now until October 31st. So there’s never been a better time for curious undead outlaws to check out the game.
Let’s take a look at what’s coming our way in this update:
A whole new level called “After Dark”: When Gin and company encounter a strange Saloon on the outskirts of the world, they quickly discover that a couple of drinks aren’t going to pay their way to safety in a room full of all their worst enemies. Join us for this wild ride beginning at Chapter 3 of Hard West 2.
A special demonic reward weapon, the “Hellfire Rifle”: The powerful new weapon is a deadly combination of firepower and special buffs. It can only be acquired by completing the new After Dark level.
Two New Difficulty Levels: “Normal” and “Nightmare+” difficulty levels are now available. Normal helps to bridge the gap between Easy and Hard levels to provide a good balance of enjoyable challenge. Nightmare+ includes turn limits for those looking for an additional level of difficulty when compared to the existing Nightmare level.

Today we’re thrilled to share that Hard West 2 is now available for $29.99/€24.99, with a 10% off launch week discount available until August 11. Welcome back to the Wild West, thanks for playing the Demo and for all your feedback. As a reward for owning Hard West, we're giving you an exclusive weapon upon purchase of Hard West 2, the Duckfoot Handgun. Running until June 5, the beta features a small slice of the game’s full campaign and lets you delve into some of the special abilities that your posse will acquire through your journey through the dark heart of the West.

Today we’re thrilled to announce that we’re returning to the dark heart of the American West with a new supernatural journey. With a gun full of lead and a fistful of witchcraft, raise an outlaw posse and chase down the devil to take back what’s yours in Hard West 2.
We know you’ve been eager to re-enter this Western universe and we thank you for your patience. It’s taken some time to find the right tale to capture our imagination and we believe that Hard West 2 is that successor. Not only have we expanded the original game’s unique take on that universe, but we are also building upon the innovative mechanics from Hard West 1 that you love. The series’ key gameplay innovations such as ricochets, the luck system and dynamic covers are all not just present in Hard West 2 but greatly amplified in useful new ways.
Hard West 2 ups the ante in every way, with the unique new Bravado State that delivers a more aggressive approach to combat. Rush out of cover, go on the offensive, and chain together stylish kills to extend your streak as you brazenly take down anyone or anything that stands in your way.
