Harsh 2.0
The newest update doubles the size of the overworld map as well as adding a couple new creatures and a new intelligent faction. The underwater effects have been improved as well as improvements to the creature spawning systems. Look for the next couple of updates to further develop and populate the two villages in this section of the map.
Faction Fights and More...
The newest update adds the hunting and raiding party systems into the game. Hunting parties will be spawned periodically based on which factions are opposed to you and they will scour the open world looking for evidence of you and trying to track you down. Similarly, small raiding parties will spawn as the goblins and fungoids send troops to battle each other and the undead might even join in on the fun. Look for faction battles and jump in to help turn the tide for your friends, whomever they might be.
This update also include some improvements and additions requested by community members as well as a new font for the UI that hopefully help to improve its appearance and readability. Also, some bugs were smashed along the way, for further detail, check out the patch notes on the forums.
Goblins Make War, Not Love!
The Goblin Warrens are now open to explore! This new explorer area features new creatures, gear, spells and crafting recipes. Choose your side as the goblins and the fungoids war rages on. Now, not only can you help the fighting on the surface, you can delve into both sides home and bring the pain while heading back to the other home to restock and sell.
The Madness Begins (Demo Available and Goblins Arrive)
The Demo version is now available which allows you to play up to level 10 to get a feel for the game and how it plays on your computer.
Goblin warriors have begun to appear in the northern part of the map. These are just the first wanderers and only a taste of what to come, but brings a little more meaning to the faction system as the goblins and fungoids are at war.
Small Update
Small update today that improves some icons for different inventory items and adds a tiny new area with a couple of new crafting recipes.
Launch Day Is Here!
The day is finally here and Harsh is finally available. Looking forward to hearing your input and stories as you join me on this journey of building a new world to explore.
Update 1.2 Live
Update 1.2 is up and it adds 7 new creatures to the world as well as numerous bug fixes and improvements to some systems such as bonuses to crafting based on character level. Base building pieces got a slight overhaul in strength and repairs as well. Also, on the horizon, I submitted a demo version to Steam that will allow people to play through level 10 to get a feel for the game and make sure their computer is up to the strain. See you all in less than 36 hours for launch!
Pre-Release Update
Our first update has actually gone live before the game itself. New creatures, new spells, new crafting recipes, new items and the Fungoid Caves themselves have been added! The caves are a welcome haven for those who are friends of the Fungoids, but a perilous dungeon style crawl to those who have angered the cave dwellers, Explore the unknown and improve your character with all the new things included in this first update available on game release day, January 25th!
