Harthorn: Spring Cleaning Update

Harthorn has been revisited to add and fix some things not in the original release. That patch is now live with the changes below!

Some of the additions:

  • Doors now have UI titles for easier navigation around the school
  • The 'janky' shadows the original had are all fixed
  • Cleaner animations on some GameObjects
  • Death screen with restart prompt more simplified and clean
  • Rooms are better labeled with signs outside the door
  • Simplified colliders to 'catch' less when walking by GameObjects
  • Debug notifications in the console decreased substantially (this file could get large in the original)

Some of the bug fixes:

  • Fixed issues with some connections between lights and light switches
  • Fixed Mesh Rendering issue on some lights
  • Fixed LOD issues on some GameObjects
  • Fixed missing wall collider in "Morning Shift"
  • Fixed Occlusion Culling issue on some carpets
  • Fixed fade-in-out animation to fit all screen dimensions
  • Fixed clipping issue on multiple GameObjects
  • Fixed shadows issues on many GameObjects
  • Fixed "Prone" error messages in console
  • Fixed "Jump" error messages in console

Harthorn: Patch 03

The new patch fixes several bugs that have been noticed by players:

  • Fixed movement issues with metal shelf mesh colliders
  • Fixed the chance of freezing on being tackled by the Antagonist in the North Wing
  • Fixed issues with triggering "Examine" on the bomb puzzle note

The patch also moves/adds several story events that I feel better explain events around Harthorn:

  • Fixed missing important story dialog in the South Wing by doing objectives in the wrong order
  • Moved important dialog from Condemned East Wing to Condemned West Wing to not having repeating dialog on death

Some minor adjustments but will enhance gameplay (in particularly: not getting caught on shelves, missing important story moments, and rehearing the same dialog on dying).
