Update #6 (Hot Air Balloon Level, Eel thrower, Harpoon Gun)



Hey everyone! A small update this week as we prep KEVIN and the big Aqua update. We added a hot air balloon level and some more Aqua themed weapons. We’re also working on the stability of the network player, particularly when grabbing legs and feet.

Update #5 (Barge Level, Gravity Grenades, Crossbow)



Hey all! This week we have a level with a new dynamic we’re testing: the whole level can be steered and driven around like a vehicle. We’ve also added a special kind of grenade that creates a localized zero gravity field. As you do.

We’ve also made some big improvements to character stability. The characters should recover from physics explosions a lot more gracefully, especially in the local version. We’re still working on the networked player, but this should still be a big improvement. This should make grabbing on to other players, pulling them around, and hanging off of them actually possible. This was always the intention but we hadn’t figured out how to make it stable enough to really work. Now it does, and we think it adds a lot to the game. You can now pull and push other non-stunned players into fans and water. We’ve been having a lot of fun re-learning the game with all these new dynamics. Let us know what you think :).

The secret puzzle in the Moon Pool level is now 90% functional. For those who found it already: great job!

Update #4 (SHARK LAUNCHER! Also climbing)



Hey all! This week we’ve also added a new gun: SHARK LAUNCHER. Pretty self explanatory, tbh. Just point and shoot. Then run. Probably best to run.

We’ve also done an overhaul to the way that grabbing works that should make climbing better and easier. The player now maintains a list of all grabbable objects around them and tries to grab the nearest thing, sorted by importance. This means that you should be able to grab what you want a lot more naturally. For example, if you’re falling off a cliff, you should be able to grab on and save yourself a lot more often.

There’s also two new secret in progress levels and another level involving flying drones. Enjoy! <3
