She has just arrived in Metal City to bring chaos to the Heavy Metal Machines' Arenas!
Calamity is a Transporter with weapons that allow her to STEAL the Bomb!

The orphan of the greatest scientists who understood the Bomb’s technology, born in the Sand Seas and self-raised in the Swamps. Her cometh to Metal City aims to take down the Tournament and all those who take part in it, showing everyone the true meaning of “disruption.”
Her Passive ability is called “The Power of the Bomb.” She grew up so close to the Bomb that it is now part of her life. When she is carrying the Bomb, the Machine will gain HP, increased damage, weight, and size.
Calamity’s Weapon 1 is “Meritocracy,” which launches a claw forward dealing damage to enemies, and may also attach to the Bomb and pull it into her possession. This is the only Machine that can steal the Bomb from enemies, creating a new range of strategies.
The Weapon 2 is “Dodge Back.” It will instantly thrust the Machine backward and deal damage to any enemy close to her. This is very useful to avoid damage and dodge enemies. Even more, if combined with Weapon 3, “Dodge Forth,” which is the opposite version: It instantly thrusts the Machine forward and deals damage to enemies nearby.
Her Special ability is “Full Throttle.” As the weapon’s name says, she will put the pedal to the metal and gain speed as long as you keep the Special Weapon button pressed, consuming Special Weapon Energy over time.

New Machine: Calamity
Calamity, The Bomb Stealer, is the newest Heavy Metal Machines’ character. She is a Transporter that introduces an exclusive ability to the game: Bomb Steal. When her weapon 1 hits the Bomb - even when an enemy is carrying it - it will pull it to your possession, creating a whole new level of strategy.

- The News window has been updated with a new design.
- Two new smaller slots have been added next to the News window.
- It is no longer possible to minimize the News window.

New Avatars for levels 11-20 have been added to the game.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug with Stargazer’s teleport. It’s no longer possible to teleport inside the arena structures.
- Fixed a bug in which the game froze under certain conditions.

Interface Updates
- The main menu background image has been updated.
- A new window message will appear for some players, inviting them to access the Store when they meet specific requirements.
- The “match found” pop-up window has been updated with usability improvements for gamepads, but keyboard & mouse players will also notice it.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug with Photon’s Special Weapon. Now both trail and side-lights have the same duration.
- Fixed a bug with Metal Herald’s model “Officer Herald,” now his front wheels are in the correct position.
- Fixed a bug with Icebringer’s ice colors, and now they have the same color when attached or detached from the vehicle.
- Fixed a bug with Clunker’s weapon 2, and now the weapon ready effect is being displayed correctly after using it in the Bomb.
Ranked Mode - Season 4 Rewards
- As previously announced, the rewards for the ranked players in the Season 4 would be scheduled for a future date. We will deliver the rewards to all eligible players during the past season on May 11th during the maintenance.
Machine Pricing Update
- All current Machines now cost 500 Cash, and future new Machines will cost 600 Cash until a new Machine is released.
- Rampage and Dirt Devil now cost 5.000 Fame. All other Machines cost 8.000 Fame. Future new Machines will cost 10.000 Fame until a new Machine is released.

New Arena: Sacrifice Sanctuary
Now that the Temple of Sacrifice has gone, it’s time for a new Sanctuary to arise.
Developer Note
Our challenge here was to solve known issues from Temple of Sacrifice, which were:The new Arena gives you an experience that is more fun and more dynamic, with more gameplay variations and mobility. This Arena has challenges such as driving through an area focusing on several droppers, followed by an area with Acid. Both of them are crucial for both the defending and attacking Teams' strategies.
- As the Temple of Sacrifice was quite long and horizontal, it punished players that weren't close to the battle for the Bomb.
- The long course hindered opportunities to recover the Bomb and counterattack while on the defensive side.
- Long matches due to its considerable length.
