Scheduled Maintenance and Patch Notes 15/04/2020

Hello, Metal Gladiators

Maintenance is scheduled for April 15th, from 12:00 to 16:00 (UTC+1), to apply an update that brings some bug fixes and improvements.

Help Menu (F1)


  • A new button has been added to the menu. It leads to the game's website, under the character guide from each Machine, which now has detailed information about their Weapons with the current Machine balance.

Loading Screen


  • A list of basic movement, combat and social commands has been added to the loading screen.

News Window


  • A button that leads to the game's official Twitter account has been added to the news window.

Metal League


  • Visual and usability improvements have been added to the Metal League's information menu.

Bug Fixes & Improvements


Metal League


  • Texts in multiple languages were fixed/improved.
  • The button used to join the Metal League queue was changed from "Participate" to "Play".
  • Fixed a bug in which Teams were unable to join the queue under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed a bug in which the player's avatar was loading in low resolution.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Team members' information to appear incorrectly for a few seconds in the interface.

Metal League


  • Fixed a bug in which veteran Teams that had at least one player categorized as “Beginner” were unable to join any Metal League Tournament. Teams under this scenario should be able to join Metal League Pro’s Tournaments.

Maintenance is scheduled for April 3rd, from 12:00 to 16:00 (UTC+1), to apply an update that brings interface changes on the Metal League menus and other additional bug fixes..

Metal League


Interface


The interface has been updated to adapt to the new format and rules, with the Metal League Beginner and Metal League Pro, simultaneously in two regions.
  • The “Metal League” button in the main menu has been replaced with “Tournaments” button.


  • The new “Tournaments” menu has a list of active Metal League Tournaments on each region.

    The information shown in the interface above is just an example.

  • Added a new “Team” tab within the Metal League menu, showing if each team member meet the criteria to join that specific Tournament.

Teams


The Team system has been updated to adapt to the new Metal League rules.
  • When a Team join a Metal League Beginner or Metal League Pro tournament, all Team adjustment options are disabled. Adding a new member or removing a member must be done before joining a Tournament.
  • Add/remove a member while the Team is already participating in a Tournament requires the Team to leave the Tournament, which will reset the results obtained until that moment. The same Team may join the same Tournament again, however, it will only be allowed to play matches again during the next Stage.
  • Only the Team Leader can leave a Metal League Tournament.

Bug Fixes


General


  • Fixed an issue in which the bomb was going through blockers, under certain conditions.
  • The champion's totens from the Temple of Sacrifice Arena has been update to show the current champion teams' emblems.

Artificer


  • Fixed an issue that caused Artificer’s Passive to stop working after 20 minutes in a match without dying.

Stingray


  • Fixed an issue on the “Cryotech” model in which the vehicle wheels were affected and could incorrectly benefit players.

General


  • All buttons that lead to an external website are now opening with the computer’s default browser.

Bug Fix


Artificer


General


  • Fixed an issue in which the weapon 2 and special weapon effects continue active in the arena when Artificer gets killed while using one of these abilities.

Passive


  • Fixed an issue that caused the passive deal twice as much self-repair.
  • Fixed an issue in which the self-repair increase for each ally under the repair effect.

Weapon 1


  • Fixed an issue that caused the weapon randomly deal twice as much damage or repair when hitting other machines that have barriers (i.e. Icebringer or Rampage).

Special Weapon


  • Fixed an issue that made the weapon deal 250 repair per second. The correct is 200 repair per second.
  • Fixed an issue that made the weapon deal 200 self-repair per second. The correct is 100 self-repair per second.

Dirt Devil


Weapon 1


  • Fixed an issue that caused the mine’s daze effect be stronger than expected.

Weapon 3


  • Fixed an issue that caused the weapon to deal daze effect when using its double activation while the arpoon attached to an enemy.

Rampage

  • Fixed an issue that made Rampage go through enemies with this weapon.

Photon

  • Fixed an issue that made the weapon deal higher damage than expected.

  • Fixed an issue that made the weapon’s trail deal higher damage than expected.

Groups


  • Fixed an issue in which players in a group were unable to join the matchmaking queue after a match.

Known Issues


We’re currently working to fix the following issues, to bring them to live servers as soon as possible.

Weapon 1


  • The weapon damage should be 180 total (120 base damage + 60 damage over time). In the current version, the total damage may be lower in certain situations.

Icebringer


Weapon 3


  • The weapon repair should be 200. In the current version, the total repair may be lower in certain situations.
