Update v2.012 for the full version had been deployed. This is to fix the problem where the game doesn't start unless Offline mode is selected. In tandem with this fix, the Offline mode option had been removed as well.

Regarding Ver 2.011
Due to an incompatibility with the system, playing the game with the online features (online leaderboards, replay download) via the Steam launcher is unavailable. The game can still be played via the Steam launcher in Offline mode.

However, the online functions are still available if you play the game via the local files. Until we can resolve the issue, please access the game via the local files to enjoy its full features.

Major update Ver 2.0 is here!


  • New Mean Difficulty! There is very little room for error. Please be careful!
  • Arrange Mode is added! The better you play the harder it gets! Can you persevere under the pressure?
  • New Arranged Tracks done by crisp, Jasson Prestiliano (JP Soundworks) and Scowsh! You can adjust which arrangement to use on which mode via the Options menu.
  • New languages added: Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese!
  • 2 new wallpapers are added!
  • 8 new endings are added! The new endings are for Arcade Mean and Arrange Mode.
  • 8 new Achievements are added!
  • Several bug fixes.

Update: v1.017
Update v1.017 for the full version and update v1.027 for the demo version had been deployed. This is to fix the problem where the replay doesn't record the held button while quick-restarting the game.

This update won't automatically fix affected replay files. However, the files can still be fixed manually. If you have any that you want to be fixed, please tell us the button you remember had been pressing when quick-restarting and send the affected replay file within %localappdata%/HellBlasters for the full version and %localappdata%/HellBlastersDemo for the demo version to us, ideally via email ( admin@playshift-games.com ). The replays uploaded online can also be fixed by also reporting the ranking position of the affected replay file by the time of the report.
