I've made a small refinement I forgot to do yesterday. I've increased the minimum framerate the engine must take into account for computing the position and orientation of the objects. This avoid too rapid movements (expecially rotation of the camera) when the framerate drops suddenly for 1-2 frames because of disk activity.

HELLSEED UPDATE #5: 12-30-2022 AMD RADEON FIX

Today we have released a new update for celebrating the end of the year!
AMD RADEON DRIVERS FIX
In the last months AMD has done a big job for optimizing OpenGL drivers, I confirm that S2Engine and so HELLSEED take advantage from that. The problem was that transparent surfaces and water did not render correctly. I've finally fixed these glitches. These problems permain on the HELLSEED demo and current S2Engine public version. They will be updated next year as soon as possible.
FASTER LOADING
I've started to optimizing the loading speed. It seems that loading times have been significantly reduced in this version. Let me know :)
NEW CROUCH
Following some users feedback I've improved the crouch system. Now the crouch is "parallel" to other movements so Player doesn't stuck while performing crouch animation. This time the crouch also works when player runs.
TEXTUAL HELPS OPTION
I've added a new option into the menu general section. This new option enables some text that appears after some time the player doesn't understand what to do, this text gives player suggestions to help him. They can be enable and disable independently by the standard Helps (that are showed generally as blood strips indicating the way to follow).
AA OPTION
I've also inserted an anti-aliasing option into the rendering section of the menu. In previous version anti-aliasing were enabled/disabled only changing the graphics presets.
GENERAL CLEANING
I continued the general cleaning of the overal game by disabling drawers, lights and other interactive elements that aren't useful to the player (for example empty drawers) and generate only confusion. Of course the work isn't completely finished because the number of objects to replace is big. I think this work should also contribute to the general optimization of perfomances (less interactive objects to update)
DEBUG
As usual I've done additional small bug fixes that should generally improve the game experience.

HELLSEED UPDATE #4: 12-16-2022
Hi guys,
Today we have released the fourth update of HELLSEED Early Access version. This update is quite substantial, with other bugfixes and new simplifications.
Flashing Pickable Option
We have introduced an option to make most difficult to find pickeable items emissive and flashing, so you can recognize them in an easier way.
Enlarged bounding boxes
Many interactive elements of the game now have a larger bounding box so player can interact with them with less precision.
Bloody Basement stage
We have introduced e textual help in the bloody basement stage so players can understand faster what to do
Re-located basement key
We have relocated the final part basement key in order to avoid player can take the key before taking the rifle and go in the basement without encountering the policeman monster.
BUGFIXES
BUGFIX: In the Hospital 4th floor bloody woman appears on wheelchair when loading a game even if she has already appeared and disappeared
BUIGFIX: Wrong collisions if you are killed by doctor demon in the hospital 4th floor and continue the game.
BUGFIX: some windows and walls in the hospital haven't collisions
BUGFIX: a radiography bug that blocks the game if you leave a radiography into the negatoscope and then reload a saved game.
BUGFIX: Elevator Demon starts attack animation with a bit of delay when kill player
BUGFIX: After loaded a saved checkpoint, if the player die and click on continue, the game doesn't start from the last check point before death.
Other minor bugfixes
USUALLY IT DOESN'T HAPPEN BUT UPDATING THE GAME COULD CAUSE CORRUPTION OF SOME SAVED GAMES.

This bug prevents players to finish the game in the correct way. It also prevents to play all action related parts of the game halving the fun.

HELLSEED UPDATE 12-02-2022
Hi guys,
Today we have published the first of many updates of HELLSEED early access version. In this update we are starting to focus on fixing bugs.
Following are the main bugs we have fixed now:
On the second floor landing, Door on the left hasn't collisions
If you die in the blood of basement and restart the checkpoint, if you pass the blood and go in the corridor sometimes you see ""shaking no face"" and camilla at the same time.
When walking camilla appears you can see her disappearing if you run.
Some doors in Hospital do not collide
"Lo" words appear when you aim green crucifixes on second floor
In the hospital 5th floor, if you see the ""shaking no face"" in the lift, move torward it and then you move fast in the corridor, Demon appears and stucks in the wall.
In the hospital 5th floor the start elevator has no collisions
The door on the right before stairs for the cellar is invisible
When the possession level is high and you are on the second floor sometime the door of the small TV room closes and becomes non-interactive, so you cannot be able to continue the game.
You can see the demon walking torward ground floor stairs disappearing if you run.
