Patch Notes - 2019.08.30

This patch adds the OST music screen for those who purchased the OST DLC. Next patch will be for the Classic mode.


  • Implemented a simple OST screen for listening to the soundtrack. This screen will be improved in the Cloud and Polish patch
  • Fixed bug that didn't let you press continue on the difficulty popup with the gamepad.

Patch Notes - 2019.08.23

This patch adds the Arcade system and popup. It is now easier for me to add new content to the game now that the Arcade system is coded. Next patch will add the OST music screen.


  • Forgot to balance a lot of the NG+ mode's "bloodthirst time allowed" variable after altering that system.
  • Updated Chainsaw description
  • Hesione now heals Herakles when she hugs the player.
  • Pressing X on gamepad pulls up the Arcade popup on Save Slots screen. Text and X button image shows this.
  • Found a cover artist and am working with him on creating the new cover art.
  • Added Arcade popup. Current options are: Demo, Classic and OST. Classic and OST currently display "Check Back Soon!" messages. They will be added in a future patch.
  • Added Demo to be run from the Arcade popup.
  • Removed "demo" command from the command console. Passwords can still be typed, however.
  • Added purchasing the OST from the Arcade popup.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.31

This patch fixes several bugs. Next patch will add more content


  • Fixed bug where you could unlock Mount Olympus mode before the other 2 NG+ modes, which caused the game to crash.
  • Made unlocking Hades mode more fun by reducing the number of requires bunnies to 1, but also forcing the player to actually play tag instead of having allies play tag together.
  • Fixed a bug where using gamepad and arrow keys would not switch between the game's modegroups correctly. This was because I had it still programmed to the old layout.
  • Disabled arrows keys from shaking the screen on "Final Battle!". This was in the game during testing and I forgot to enable it only for devmode.
  • Fixed a bug where the final cut scene was not marked as completed if you came from "Final Battle!"
  • Got rid of poison drip to come out of floating arrows (arrows sticking inside of people). This could lag the game, especially noticeable with the new unlimited arrows buff.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.21

This patch alters the existing content and gets things ready for the upcoming patches. Because of this, it has broken the save files and they will reset. The next patch will fix some bugs.


  • Added Discord Emojis
  • Added Jim Bob Easter Egg
  • Created the IMDB page
  • Fixed Alt + Tab bug, where you'd press Alt+Tab would cause the game to still think the Alt key was pressed down. Causing Enter or F4 to be the same as Alt+Enter and Alt+F4
  • Gave a white highlight to the hydra base to make it easier to figure out for new players.
  • Altered New Game+ modes. Chaos is now 2nd, then Hades, then Mount Olympus.
  • Mount Olympus is now forced into Very Hard difficulty
  • Added a "Randomize Character" checkbox on Chaos and Hades modes for after you beat those modes.
  • Added an Unlimited Arrows buff that gets unlocked after beating Chaos mode. However, I did not do artwork for it, yet. So, the artwork is temporary and will be improved in a future patch.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.18

This patch improves a number of things. The next patch will revolve around altering existing content and getting things ready to add new content.


  • Spartan Cape was listed before Spartan Agility in the Buffs Popup. Even though you could earn the Spartan Agility sooner.
  • Added tip on acquiring the Lampus Bow and Lampus Sword.
  • You can now use WASD and the arrow keys to go to the next level on the map screen
  • Demo's text for "Press Spacebar to Continue" now changes to display the gamepad's button if you are using a gamepad.
  • Added several new variables to the balance system. No values were actually changed, however.
  • Laomedon now fires his bow more often. Before, he did not have enough time to get an arrow out before switching to his staff.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.16

This patch improves a number of things. The next patch will also revolve around minor improvements


  • Gave each future patch an ETA
  • Dropping arrows from a shield would be above ground during drop, but behind the ground once it landed.
  • Spartan shield was dropping above ground, which looked bad in hidden areas. (And different than weapons, arrows, etc.)
  • Some weapons started with a lowercase "basic" in their description
  • Hovering your mouse on the left side of any of the main menu buttons would cause it to glitch out.
  • Improved Shark Portrait with mouse. Will improve further with tablet in a future patch.
  • Pressing pause sometimes caused the cursor to move. It is mostly fixed. Now, unpausing the game can sometimes cause the mouse to move to the center of the screen if you are moving the mouse as you unpause the game. I will fix this further in a future patch, as it will take more time to isolate the problem.
  • Some of the text on the screen would be cut off if the X and Y values had decimals. This was caused by it reading from the texture page incorrectly and giving cut off text images.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.12

This patch fixes a few rare bugs that have been found. The next patch will revolve around some minor improvements.


  • Fixed a bug that would throw an error when a pumpkin died to poison
  • Fixed a bug that allowed enemy bowmen to fire their arrows through diagonal blocks on Thrace Camp.
  • Fixed a bug that made it so that you could have 8 arrows on the full version.
  • Fixed a bug that let the player beat Ketos by exiting the level after beating the Hydra.
  • Fixed bug where you could charge the spear, pause game, release the mouse and you'd have no arms.
  • Fixed bug where you couldn't change the difficulty with controller on the difficulty popup.
  • Fixed bug that prevented summoning of lightning with controller if no enemies were near.
  • Set Celestial to be default background setting for full version of the game.
  • Fixed a balancing bug that made frenzy almost impossible on harder difficulties.
  • Steam Demo Community Capsule Image now displays an actual image instead of "No Image Available"
  • Updated Steam Full Version Community Capsule Image to now have centered title text.
  • Fixed the bug where allied soldiers playing tag could glitch through the floor.

Patch Notes - 2019.07.09

I have improved the UI in this patch to make things more user friendly. Next patch will focus on rare bugs that have been found.


  • Removed the stutter bug console command. The bug is no longer an issue.
  • Added a console command to open the game's discord server in the browser.
  • Added a checkbox to the early access popup to not display it again.
  • Early Access and Demo popups no longer copies a link to my game's discord server.
  • Added a button to the Early Access and Demo popups to open my game's discord server in the user's default browser.
  • Screenshots are no longer saved to the storage directory's Screenshot folder. They are now temporarily saved to the storage directory's Temp folder. This folder is automatically deleted when the game is closed. These were duplicates of what Steam was already saving and taking up space.
  • Added a settings button to the map screen and some of the other setup screens.
  • Added a checkbox to skip the Becker Games intro. This can be found on the settings popup, under Display.
  • Renamed Shotgun to Boomstick

Patch Notes - 2019.07.07

There was a critical bug that I needed to patch asap. Thank you to Tristan for finding it for me and bringing it to my attention!


  • 4k resolution now works as expected in full screen. It had showed black borders on the sides and gave a very narrow view.
  • 4k resolution now works as expected in windowed mode. It had forced 1080 pixels as maximum height, which is a very small window for 4k or 8k screens.
  • Fixed the output text in the command console when someone typed "bug stutterfix off"
