With a heavy heart we need to inform our community that Solis Studios is closing down and we will unfortunately need to remove //HEX from sale.
We cannot express enough gratitude for the support and love from our players! Thank you for joining us on this journey, and giving our small studio a chance.
//HEX Hacking Simulator will be removed from sale on the 1st of April 2024.
Au revoir, Solis Studios.
Ctrl F5 Update - Release Date Postponed
Unfortunately we live in South Africa, and unfortunately due to mismanaged government, this means that we have something called "loadshedding". For those of you who don't know what that is, loadshedding is the watered down version of Y2K - planned power outages countrywide that last for up to 4 hours at a time, sometimes twice a day - and they get announced a day before they happen.
This means that after our day jobs, we haven't been able to put in the hours to get the new update ready in time.
We apologize for letting our community down, however, we are still working to push the new update, and will keep you updated with the developments.
CTRL F5
Howzit Hackers,
Here it is, the release date for the CTRL F5 update, bringing a lot of new improvements and updates to the game.
In the next few months we will be updating you all with more screenshots and news over on our Discord, so be sure to join so that you don't miss out!
Cheers!
//2021
Howzit Hackers!
It's been a while, we hope you all enjoyed the holidays and a Happy New Year to all of you from all of us at Solis Studios.
Now for the news!
We've collected a lot of feedback from our kind players who take the time to report bugs and give their suggestions to improve the game. The main issues we've received are:
Networking issues
Some nodes (*cough*Cipher*cough cough*) are still unclear and/or not enjoyable
And actually being able to spend your money you've legally earned.
So allow us to introduce the next Major Update coming this year:
UPDATE
CTRL + F5
We've decided to rebuild the game from the ground up, with a new networking solution including the long overdue request for Mod Support!
What you can expect in this update:
Whole new Hacker and Control views
Revamped Existing Nodes
New Node Types: Normal, Mini, Time, Main
New Main nodes
New Tracers
Nodes will now require certain inputs and give new outputs
The opening of the Black Market where you can upgrade your RAM, CPU and Storage
Mod Support
Revamped Chapter 1
The long awaited Chapter 2
Improved UI
We hope you're as excited as we are for ctrl F5. If you'd like to get your name in the game including your node idea developed by us, now is a great time to hop over onto our Discord and submit your ideas.
Thanks for sticking around hackers! We're looking forward to hearing your ideas and feedback on the new update.
