New update and the WAR LOOT event in Hired Ops.


Mercenaries!

We're happy to announce a new big update 1.0.3151 in Hired Ops, featuring a daily reward system, clan supplies, and a new map PARKSIDE.

Along with the update begins the new operation WAR LOOT. Complete contracts and win games to gain operation points and earn unique rewards such as reward weapons, as well as a chance to get other unique weapons.

The operation will be active until July 10, 2022.




List of changes:
Disabled the server list, fixed the issue with finding players through matchmaker.

Added a daily reward system. The reward value increases with each start of the game. The counter doesn’t reset if you skip a day.

Added Clan Supplies for clans - by completing clan contracts, you receive supply crates, similar to Mercenary Supplies. Clan members with access to clan progression can activate special weekly deliveries that unlock access to clan crates with special weapons inside. Rewards change sequentially every week.
The current list of rewards is:

  • Masterkey crate - main reward: Serbu Shorty shotgun;
  • Ranger crate - main reward: M40 sniper rifle;
  • Judge crate - main reward: Old Judge revolver shotgun;
  • Sandman crate - main reward: MP5SDX submachine gun;
  • Lightning crate - main reward: AN-94 assault rifle;
  • Defender crate - main reward: Enforcer machine pistol;
  • Vihlop crate - main reward: VSSK sniper rifle.

The Medical unit in clan bases is replaced by the Supply Center - upgrade this building to receive discounts on the activation of special supplies.

Added voiceover while using gadgets.

Consumables:

  • Stimulant (Stormtrooper), Blocker injector (Scout) - increased equipment cost to 80, increased repurchase time to 80 seconds.

Perks:

  • Iron health (Stormtrooper, Destroyer): reduced base health bonus to 5;
  • Toxin (Sniper): reduced base intoxication bonus to 2 seconds;
  • Thermal charge (Scout): reduced burning duration bonus of the affected target to 0.5 seconds per grade;
  • Improved stimulant (Scout): changed the recoil reduction bonus with the active stimulant. Now the base bonus is 15% and 3% per grade.

Weapons:
Added a mechanic of counting the cartridge in the chamber for weapons with tactical reload (considering the features of the real weapons).

  • SMGs - increased the range of most the submachine guns;
  • Evo3 - increased the damage to 39;
  • Sawed-off - increased the optimal distance to 10 and maximum distance to 20;
  • XCEED - increased the aiming speed;
  • HCAR - increased the penetration to 80, increased the mobility to 42, increased the aiming and sprint recovery speed;
  • SA58 - increased the damage to 54;
  • PDR-C - increased the reload speed to 81;
  • HK416c - increased the optimal distance to 45 and maximum distance to 90;
  • HK417 - increased the mobility to 40;
  • SR2M - increased the penetration to 70, increased the damage to 43, increased the reload speed to 75;
  • X95 - increased the damage to 41, increased the stability, increased the reload speed to 76;
  • UZI - increased the damage to 36, increased the mobility to 75, increased the stability and hip fire accuracy;
  • G18 - increased the damage to 34, increased the stability;
  • M40 - added tactical reload;
  • VSS - added tactical reload and weapon inspect, remade all animations;
  • Saiga 12 - added tactical reload;
  • DE - added tactical reload, increased the rate of fire to 34, adjusted the overall weapon behavior;
  • SW - increased the penetration to 80.

Ammo:

  • RIP - reduced penetration penalty to 15%, added 10% damage bonus;
  • Match - reduced penetration penalty to 15%;
  • Slidecase - reduced reload speed bonus to 8%.

Added new ammo:

  • Vampire - assault rifle ammo for KIBA reputation level 5;
  • Nightfall - assault rifle and LMG ammo for RTW reputation level 5;
  • Surefire - assault rifle ammo for TIS reputation level 2.

Other:

  • BEAR Scout - made some changes to the default camouflage;
  • Legendary corporation crates - changed the 20000 CR reward to 10 MP.

Patch 1.0.3047

We've installed a client update containing several fixes and changes. Please download the update via Steam.

› Optimized some logical systems to reduce the load on the system when the number of players in the match increases.
› The sound system was optimized, the sound zones of the interiors were updated.
› Added a sound effect when using the "Acoustic Sensor".
› Added indication of equipped ammo in the combat interface.
› Added the correct clan tag color display.

Fixed:

  • Significant fps drop on the first spawn;
  • Incorrect camera position when entering a match;
  • Third-person firing of shotgun slugs is now displayed correctly;
  • The "Acoustic Sensor" did not work correctly when activating the drone;
  • Incorrect "Armor Crate" icon on the minimap;
  • Incorrect spawn points on the "Old Sawmill" and "Construction" maps;
  • Black screen after a match in “Team Skirmish”;
  • Airdrop parachute animation artifacts;
  • Optics glare shining in all directions;
  • No coughing effect when standing in the smoke;
  • Unstable visuals of the thermite grenade fire;
  • Fixed damage area in the jaw zone;
  • No class requirement for purchasing weapons;
  • Game freeze when logging into the server with 4 corporation contracts and 4 clan contracts.


Balancing changes:

  • Thermals - reduced usage time down to 30 seconds;
  • Sentinel - removed bonus to thermal imager charge recovery rate. Increased the base bonus to the duration of the thermal imager to 20% and up to 3% per grade.


Ammo:

  • ArrowHead - increased bleeding damage up to 60%;
  • MG AP-OFM - reduced bleeding damage down to 20%, increased bleeding duration up to 5 seconds;
  • Marksman AP-OFM - increased bleeding duration up to 5 seconds;
  • Shellrain - reduced accuracy and penetration penalties down to 5%.

Mercenaries!

We’re happy to announce a release of the new big update 1.0.2945 for Hired Ops. It includes contract and in-match store reworks, updated mercenary equipment, and a new tutorial mission for new players.

Together with the update, a new operation “Code of Silence” also starts in the game. By completing contracts and winning matches you will gain operation points and earn unique rewards, such as the new weapon, the G3SD assault rifle for the Scout class. Besides that, a new map, Construction, already awaits you in the game.



We also haven’t forgotten about pleasant gifts for you. Every player that enters the game from December 16 to 19 will receive a 7-day premium status as a gift.

Read the detailed description of the update below:

› Added a tutorial mission introducing new players to the basic mechanics of the game.
You can always replay the tutorial mission in the game settings.



› Reworked the in-match store.
Removed special equipment and mechanics, which showed low efficiency in battle. First-aid kit and medkit are now given out each time you start combat or die. Ammo is moved to weapon customization. Choice of armor is moved to global progression.

› Changed perks layout and global progression logic.
You can now seamlessly switch between perks in the global progression, the selected perks are in the class loadout. Also, a free global reset of spent experience in the progression has been made, so that you can redistribute it according to the new iteration.

Now when you reach level 5 of a class you get a free loadout for that class. (Unless all available loadouts have already been purchased). If you already have an operative at class level 5 or higher you also get a free loadout.

The choice of ammo is now in the weapon customization, and is not available in combat. Ammo is unlocked for Weapon Mastery levels, class levels, and corporate reputation levels.

› The interface and logic of corporation contracts has been redesigned.
You now have 2 slots for corporation contracts, as well as 2 additional slots if premium status is active. Once you have a contract in a slot you can't refuse it, and it continues to occupy a slot until you fulfill it. (similar to clan contracts) Contract slots are cleared on daily reset. Increased earnings of corporation reputation from contracts by 2 times.



› Added weekly task “Mercenary's Outfit”. By completing 10 contracts per week you can collect the weekly reward. If premium is activated you can collect an additional reward.

› Added changes to the gameplay geometry of the following maps: Loading Zone, Evacuation, Port 5, Industrial Zone.

› Changed the following perks and mechanics:

  • all stimulators - give protection against bioreagent and gas;
  • “Ammo crate” - now when you pick it up the tracers of shots become red. If the crate has been enhanced by the Stormtrooper “Improved Ammunition” perk - the tracers will be green;
  • pyrotechnic - if this perk is selected, the grenade launcher will fire thermal charges;
  • “Improved Morphine” - now this perk additionally gives a reduction of incoming head damage when using morphine;
  • “Iron Will” - replaced by the perk "Triton” System;
  • changed the mechanics of the acoustic sensor - now it works all the time, but breaks when you get shot in the head, as well as replacing the helmet slot for the sniper class;
  • added perk to the scout's progression - Agility.


› Various sound enhancements have been made, including:

  • improved vertical sound positioning;
  • improvement of sounds of steps and shooting at a distance;
  • new sounds for planes, point takeover, flashlight/laser activation, and others;
  • refinement of environment sounds.


› Fixes:

  • fixed situations when glare of enemy's optics prevented from aiming at him;
  • fixed situations when Z-blur was interfering with aiming;
  • fixed a bug that caused the bonus from the “Tactical Shooting” skill to be 100% more than specified.


› Changes:

  • legendary corporation crates - increased mod drop chance to 50%;
  • added tactical reloads for the following weapons: AKMS, Oracle, AKS74U (added preview animation);
  • shotguns (except cutoff version) - increased maximum range to 30 meters, optimal range to 16 meters;
  • AS VAL - decreased spread;
  • VSS - reduced dispersion while aiming, simplified recoil;
  • AK-12 - changed the shooting sound;
  • HK417D - damage increased to 62;
  • DT MDR - speed of aiming and stopping sprint has been increased;
  • X95R - decreased spread;
  • SCAR-H - decreased recoil to 67, decreased sway;
  • DRS - visibility through the sight glass has been improved;
  • Halo - increased sight range significantly;
  • Blade - accuracy bonus increased to 11%, reworked aiming mark and scope magnification.

Hotfix 1.0.2871

We have installed a client update containing a number of fixes. Please download the update via Steam.

Fixed:

  • Fixed a bug with infinite Ots33 fire.
  • Fixed weapons swapping when holding throwables in hand.
  • Fixed an incorrect MP gain for finishing GunGame matches.
  • Increased the footstep and gunfire hearing distance.
  • Fixed various issues with weapon sounds.

Operation White Feather



The new operation White Feather starts today. By completing contracts and winning matches you will gain operation points and earn unique rewards, such as the new weapon, the TTS Xceed sniper rifle. There are also weapon mods and camouflages for the Sniper class in the operation crates.




The operation will last until October 31, 2021, inclusive.

With the release of the operation, we have also made some changes in the game.


  • Improved the arsenal interface
  • Added new currency - Mastering Point. With this currency, you can unlock weapon tasks without needing to complete them. You can earn this currency in the next game modes:



    • GunGame DM - 1st place gets 20 MP, second - 5 MP, third - 3 MP
    • Team GunGame - Every member of the winning team gets 10 MP, every member of the losing team gets 3 MP
    • Team Skirmish - At the end of the game, you get 1 MP for each round won
    • [Target Designation - At the end of the game, you get 2 MP for each round won, and also 5 MP for winning the game
    • Team GunGame - removed the point penalty on the last level if a teammate dies from anything except the knife.



  • Improved the logic of equipment refill crates - now, when pressing the interaction button, the equipment refills without opening the in-game shop, and when pressing the in-game shop button, it opens the store for purchasing the items straight to inventory.
  • Improved the player respawn protection - now the player is invincible for 1 second, and then has damage resistance that fully dissipates to the 3rd second. Now, shooting does not disable the respawn protection. In the future, we might readjust these settings.
  • Improved the respawn logic - now you respawn when pressing the Space button, and the auto respawn option can be enabled/disabled at any time.
  • Improved the thermite grenades - now they detonate on impact, same as the impact grenades.
  • The countermeasure to gas and thermite grenades - now, if there is an explosion in the radius of these grenades, the fire and gas dissipate.
  • Fixed several bugs related to in-game shop equipment.

Sound improvements:

  • Improved the overall sound balance and the distant gunshot sounds.
  • Improved the ambient sounds.
  • Fixed various issues related to automatic fire sounds.
  • Added sounds when going through foliage.
  • Added new sounds for footsteps on concrete, broken glass, broken tile, sand, dirt, gravel.
  • Added a unique movement sound for the IRONCLAD.
  • Overhauled the radio command style.
  • Fixed bugs related to incorrect positioning of allied shouts.
  • Overhauled the grenade and mortar sounds in the distance.

Balance and mechanics changes:

  • Added tactical reloads for the next weapons: M4A1, 90two, RPK-74, SVD-S, MP5K(added an inspect animation), USP(remade all animations), P226(added an inspect animation), ISR, SOPMOD, Ace-31, HCAR, Petra, SMG-45, KS-7, LAMG.
  • LAMG - increased the damage to 47, reduced the aimed fire spread.
  • HCAR - increased the recoil smoothness, reduced the visual muzzle recoil while aiming, reduced the hip fire spread.
  • SMG-45 - increased the aiming speed, reduced the vertical recoil and hip fire spread.
  • Petra - increased the reload speed to 55.
  • USP - increased the damage to 67, reduced the reload speed to 76.
  • DE - increased the damage to 115.
  • Sawn-off - reduced the spread to 60, increased the optimal and maximum distance to 2 meters, increased the hip fire recoil, reduced the aimed fire recoil.
  • 5-7 - reduced the damage to 45, increased the hip fire spread.
  • OTs-33 - increased the hip fire spread.
  • Reduced the aiming speed bonus from a switched-on LAM to 10%.
  • MAWL-DA - reduced the passive aiming speed bonus to 10%.
  • A-Type - increased the recoil reduction to -38%.
  • Changed the RIP ammo stats (the second SMG ammo for Scout). Now they give the next bonuses: -15% recoil, 40% injury chance, -35% penetration.
  • Changed the AP-HS ammo stats (the third SMG ammo for Scout). Now they give the next bonuses: +25% recoil, +10% damage, +200% armor damage.
  • Changed the rarity of unique mods (that can only be equipped on one weapon) for completing Weapon Tasks, to legendary.
  • Tactical shooting (all classes) - reduced the default aiming speed bonus to 10%, for grade - to 2%.

We're happy to present you the answers to some popular questions from Hired Ops players.

Q: Are there any plans to change or refine the Weapon Mastering system, through which new weapons are unlocked?
A: The system of unlocking W-Tasks for currency is in active development, which will be awarded for successes in game modes in which it is difficult to complete W-Tasks: GunGame, Team GunGame, Team Skirmish, Target Designations. We’re also planning to replace all the tasks that require you to kill players in the back.

Q: Is the further development of clans planned?
A: In the future, there will be functionality for obtaining special equipment (weapons/mods/camouflages) via clans, but not in the nearest updates.

Q: Are you planning to add tactical reloads in the future?
A: The task related to tactical reloading requires a lot of work, and its result brings little new to the gameplay, so this task is not top priority. Nevertheless, we have this planned, and the first weapons with tactical reloading may appear in the nearest updates.

Q: Are you planning to move the ammo selection to customization and increase its variety?
A: It’s planned in future patches, but currently, we have many more priority tasks.

Q: Are the tutorial mission and weapon testing range planned?
A: The tutorial mission design document is in the works, the location for which will also be a testing range at the same time, but currently, it’s difficult to tell when it will be added.

Q: Is the Steam achievement rework planned?
A: There are plans to rework Steam achievements and provide a possibility for their visualization in combat, we’ve already written 50 new achievements. But at the moment there are still many more priority tasks.

Q: Did the COVID-19 situation affect the development of the game?
A: Yes, the working conditions during the pandemic had a negative impact on the speed of development. In cases where one of the developers gets sick, progress on their tasks completely stops for a week or even more.

Q: Are there plans for a HARDCORE game mode, similar as it was in CW?
A: It is planned, but not in the near future.

Q: When will KS7 be available for purchase?
A: Reward weapons for participating in Operations will have an “exclusivity” period, during which it will not be available to purchase and receive it. The duration of this period is one Operation. For example, in the KS7 case, it will be available for purchase in the next Operation.

Q: Will the Barter system be improved?
A: An improvement of the barter system is planned, but currently, we are not working on it.

Q: Will the gas and thermite grenade mechanics be adjusted, since they are currently extremely effective in the Target Designation game mode?
A: A counterplay for those types of grenades is already in the works.

Q: Will there be an ability to change teams in the game?
A: This functionality has already been implemented, you can change the team by clicking the button to the left of the deployment button. It is available only if there are fewer players on the enemy team than yours by 2 or more players.


We've also change the matchmaking on Hired Ops servers. Now server requirements are tied to player levels as follows: 11-40, 25-70, 41-100 lvl.
