Level Select, Window Mode & Bug Fixes!
Hey all! Since the launch, we have received a lot of awesome feedback from players suggesting ways to further improve the experience of Hoa, and while we could not implement all of them, we tried to include the ones that we believe will make the most impact in this first update of Hoa. Let's look through it..
Level Selection
Players can now jump to any level they want with ease right from the main menu. Anybody who got stuck can now easily unstuck themselves with this feature, or reply any level you want!
Window Mode
Players can now choose to play the game in a window instead of full screen. This setting can be found in the Options pop-up from either the Main Menu or Pause Menu.
Bug Fix - Factory, Red Level Room
Players will no longer get kicked into oblivion by the robot in the room with the red level. For those who got stuck here, you can get out by going to Level Selection, and choose to restart the Factory level.
Bug Fix - Factory, Oven Room
Previously there was a bug in which if players input more coals into the oven after the fire was lit and before they blow the fire 4 times, they won't be able to activate the robot's chains. We fixed this, and now the robot's chains can be activated in any scenario. For those who got stuck here, you can get out by going to Level Selection, and choose to restart the Factory level.
Bug Fix - Underground, Entrance to Ladybug Level
Players used to be able to use only Double Jump to get to the right end area of the cave (refer to the image below), while it should require Smash skill too. Those who managed to get there without Smash skill will get stuck and cannot go back to learn it. We fixed this, and now players will need to learn Smash skill to be able to reach there. For those who got stuck here, you can get out by going to Level Selection, and choose to restart the Underground level.
