Praise Burt! A new patch has arrived for Honey, I Joined a Cult!
Included in this patch:
Fixed crash after promoting a follower.
Fixed crash after sacking cultist.
Fixed crash after growing plants in the Arboretum.
Fixed crash that may occur after removing all traits of Cultist in Ministry of Alternation.
Power to the People Achievement now tracks Influence gained whilst at the Influence cap.
Fixed certain incorrect descriptions e.g. Maggot Rejuvenation Therapy Upgrade had incorrect description in Research menu.
Removed certain "placeholder" text in non-English versions. e.g. Biscuit Stealer Leader Demand pop-up window contains debug strings in all non English languages.
Fixed inconsistent references in Lost Property mission choice.
Fixed issue in Explorer event.
Fixed issue in Lost Property mission choice.
Fixed description of Team Morale Boost being inconsistent.
Fixed issue with "Begin Mission" tooltip.
Fixed issue in Almighty Effigy quest.
Updated the credits to recognise our previous Community Manager Joe, who somehow got missed off of the original credits (sorry Joe!)

Incoming Patch (and further content tease)
We're admittedly a bit rusty and slow at the moment. Some of the code we're back tinkering with was written by us half a decade ago, and some of the people that helped out with said code are no longer around, BUT we have got together a patch to fix some of the most pressing issues that you've raised. There's a brief summary below:

Hello there,
It’s been a while. We want to apologise to you all for the lack of updates/communication on HIJAC. Rest assured, we have not abandoned it and are now working on the next update.
So why the lack of updates? Firstly, HIJAC took a very long time for the two of us to make (ridiculously long, it’s actually pretty embarrassing). It was our first game and we had to learn everything from scratch, such as coding, how to make the artwork etc. When we finally released into 1.0, we were quite frankly, a bit frazzled and burnt out. We needed a bit of time to ourselves…
But not THAT much time to ourselves! After a bit of downtime we started to work on our next game, which is what has taken up the majority of our time. We made a conscious decision to not try and juggle two games at once until we got to a certain milestone with our new project. We’re arrived there now (as usual, it took longer than expected).
So we’re now going through the mother of all to-do lists and working our way through all the bugs/suggestions/messages that you’ve sent us since the last update.
