Since the commercial use of the regular version has been rampant on VR Arcades we decided to remove support for it in the regular verison. if you wish to use HordeZ for your VR Arcade you need to contact us directly and we will help you get the proper version and license.
Minor update to fix the Steam VR update related bug. Graphical improvements.
1 Year Anniversary!
On the 29th of April HordeZ has been around for 1 year which makes it one of the oldest VR title in the community of VR games. We want to celebrate this by lowering the price to 9.99$ for a week beginning tomorrow the 26th of April.

HordeZ on Oculus Home!
Good news for all Oculus owners! HordeZ is now available on Oculus Home and has native support for the Xbox controller and Rift. On December 12th when the touch launches we will add support for Touch as well. Due to Oculus policies we can't add this support until then, don't ask us why!

UPDATE #9 LIVE!
The demonic zombie clown is now live in update #9! He's available on level 2-9, go check him out!
Here's some changes:
Intro screen now loads the game in the background
Added Zombie clown to level 2-9
Aiming skill no longer stuck at 49%
Updated Level 8 sky and shadow settings (looks much nicer!)
Last stand no longer stuck at wave 17

In the spirit of Halloween we want to add a really scary new character to the game. Below is a work in progress of the new zombie, check it out! Be ready on October 31st for the new zombie to appear!

UPDATE #8 LIVE!
Update #8 is now low introducing 2 major features: LAN support and VR Arcade UI as well as some minor updates/improvements/bug fixxes.

Reduced Lobby graphics to imrpove loading time
Multiplayer: Blood bug when completing level
Multiplayer: Picking up drops/loot is smoother and more precise
Bug fix singplayer 2d UI, weapon no longer stops responding when activating the menu
Multiplayer: Game now supports LAN play
VR Arcade support: Introducing new UI for controlling clients and server through onscreen UI - Active in options or press F1
Multiple bug fixxes and minor improvements
Instructions for starting a LAN Game:
1. Press LAN Settings
2. Computer that is to be host starts the LAN Lobby by pressing "Start LAN Lobby Server" Button.
3. Wait about 10 seconds for the Lobby server to start in the background
4. Host connects to itself by pressing Connect to LAN Lobby Server, no need to change IP.
5. All clients connects to the new LAN Lobby server by pressing "Connect to LAN Lobby Server". Make sure the IP is changed to the Host IP!

UPDATE #7 HOTFIX #1 LIVE
A small update to fix some bugs found in Update #7.
Bug: Sound priority is now higher which should resolve sound issues.
Bug: Strange voices Heard in singleplayer is solved.
Bug: Weapon angle is now working properly
Bug: Zombies Walking in the wrong direction on Level 6 should work
If you experience stuttering sound, try lowering the volume in the options menu. Thanks to Dr. McButters!
UPDATE #7 LIVE!
Working day and night the past week the plan was to hotfix the bugs and issues that popped up in Update #6. However, we managed to put in an all new game mode - Arcade Mode along with some neat improvements so it grew to be more than just a Hotfix!
So here's update #7 with the following changes and fixes:
Single player is BACK with a vengeance and performance improvement
NEW Arcade Mode - Limited static weapon set, shoot to pickup!
Pickup by shooting ammo, Health etc is now optional
Old style beamer pickup now grants additional score for pickup(compensating faster Arcade style pickup)
Next level can now be chosen in single player
Sound bugs and glitches are fixxed
Mic sound level is higher in multiplayer and should now work all the time
Enemy drops are reduced in multiplayer
All Lobby UI settings are now properly saved (gfx, sound, weapon angle etc)
Added Difficulty in multiplayer room shown in lobby
Grenade damage is greatly reduced to players
Overall Sound and Gfx optimizations
Level glitches fixxed
Scores in multiplayer are now the same with both client and host

UPDATE #6 LIVE!
After a lot of work and testing the new version is finally live and we hope you will enjoy a much better multiplayer experience. Here is a list of the changes:
Completly new smooth multiplayer framework
Players joining game spawn at the same location
Players are divided into regions for faster and more stable connections
Ingame Voice chat!
Shared score in co-op games (doesn't matter who kills what, everyone gets points)
New improved ingame and lobby UI
Avatar now moves correctly on all levels
Weapon placement is now in the hands of the avatar
Paus in single and multiplayer
Change graphic settings (Low, Medium, High, Best)
Set playtime (for VR Arcades)
Zombie drops increased when adding more players
Portals now work in multiplayer
Added a new difficulty level (now 1-6)
Player names can be seen at the bottom of the platform
