Greetings Hot Lava fans! As the weather heats up, so does your favorite game with a brand-spanking new update to warm your heart.
BRAND! NEW! MAP!
Hold onto your pizza slices, it’s a brand new Klei created map! Rocco’s Arcade is a hotbed of hopping set in a retro-arcade pizza place. Check out two new courses! Take on the pogo and tiny toy trials! Interact with gobs of retro-games like Flamly Ball, Zeet-ball and Thump-a-Raccoon!
TWO NEW CHARACTERS
Say hello to two new characters: T. Rex and Venomess - two rocking reptilian members of Mutant Mayhem! Select them on the character screen and level them up to unlock a cavalcade of new collectables!
NEW ITEMS
On top of all the awesome items you can get leveling up the characters, we also have a handful of bonus cool collectable sets of accessories. The more you play, the more you collect, so jump back in and check out all the new stuff. We have plenty of daily challenges and plenty of online opponents to race against. See you all there!

Get ready for Mutant Mayhem! A whole new in-game toy universe set in a world that’s been transformed by an evil alien mutagen bomb. Rambull and Stinkbomb arrive in this update, complete with their own unique unlockable items, taunts and Action Files. Jump in and try them out! Keep your eyes peeled for an amazing new trial we’ve sprinkled into all of the main levels. Much like the Pogo and Tiny Toy trials, entering a Jetpack trial will launch you into whole new gameplay where you zoom through a unique new area with a high-powered jet engine strapped to your back. NEW MAIN MENU
We have refreshed the main menu making it easier to access the choices that matter! Over time new features have been added to the main menu, with this update we took the time to reorganize it so each option is easier to find.GAT SKINS AND MORE!
We’ve also thrown in some free new Night Fight camouflage skins for all your favorite G.A.T. characters. Additionally, the ever-helpful Sue will now lead you from course to course in the level overworld so you’ll never get lost finding your way to the next challenge. Hello Hot Lava fans! August is here and we’re bringing the heat for the final days of summer with a scorching new update!
DAILY CHALLENGES
New ‘Daily Challenges’ give you even more reason to jump into Hot Lava on the regular. New rewards are up for grabs - Every. Single. Day. Complete the challenges for some fantastic daily rewards. If you get doubles, don’t fret, we’ve got an exciting new system that addresses that...
NEW WAYS TO EARN ACCESSORIES
With this update we’ve given our items system a major upgrade - an amazing new feature to ‘recycle’ doubles, or items you don’t want, for tickets you can use to get gear. Instead of just winning items at the completion of level challenges, you can now earn them through this new tickets system. Some super special items will only be available this way! It’s never been easier to get the accessories you want.
NEW CHALLENGES
Speaking of items we’ve also added a lot of new challenges to every ‘Curated by Klei’ Map so it’s even easier to pick up some new accessories. Over 99 new challenges to complete, which not only gives you more chances at in-game swag, but also means that Max Player Rank has gone up by a-lot! Jump in to outrank your friends before they beat you to it!
MARVELOUS NEW MAP
As if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve also added a brand new, Klei-curated Community Map ‘Journey’! Travel through 6 different locations from City to Farm, Harbor to Forest, all with their own unique challenges. Explore these all new Levels and pick up some new items along the way.

Greetings Hot Lava fans!

This trial also features a Global Leaderboard so you can track your rise to world domination (in Hot Lava)! The Klei Fest trial will run for 4 weeks, until June 30th at 10am PDT, to give everyone enough time to pick up the Klei shirt and work on their lava jumping skills.
