The perfect base for designing a French-style interior - large, bright, and open spaces, preferably with wall stucco. The French style is elegant, beautiful, and it perfectly combines the old with the new. Delicate colors like white and blue, good-quality fabrics, and characteristic furniture create an amazing aura that cannot be confused with anything else. What matters is brilliance, symmetry, balance, and duality.
When choosing furniture, remember about duality and place an even number of pieces of equipment in your interior. When choosing decorations, remember that they should be attractive, high-quality, and stylish. Works of art are an unusual variety in decorations, and if you have access to them, it’s a great benefit to use them in your design. Mirrors will not only beautifully decorate your interior but also illuminate and optically enlarge it.
In the French style, the quality is much more important than the quantity.
Interior arrangements in Scandinavian style are simple, well-thought-out, and functional. They are dominated by the simplicity of form and almost non-existent details. Light colors are the perfect base here.
It's best to start decorating by choosing the color of the walls and floors. White, milk or ecru wall colors will perfectly match light brown or white floors. If you want your interior to be cozy, it’s a good idea to add a small fluffy rug to it.
One of the characteristic features of this style is love for nature, which is reflected by the organic forms of furniture and decorative objects.

The amount of lighting in a room can significantly affect its appearance and usability. Lights should be selected due to their usability and the function they perform.
How can you properly illuminate a room?
Artificial light is an imitation of natural light, which is the sunlight. There should be three types of lights in every room:
The leading light - takes the central place in the room. Its task is to illuminate the room evenly. The lamp should be selected according to the room size. It would be, for example, a large chandelier or a slender pendant lamp.
Task light - is the light that we use when performing a specific activity. It is, for example, a standing desk lamp, a table lamp, or a wall lamp. It should have adjustable stands.
Decorative light - is an additional light that serves only as a decorative element and gives a subtle touch of illumination. It could be a crystal wall lamp or other small, designer lights.
Thanks to the lighting, you can create exciting interiors that will attract the eyes and delight your visitors. For a long time, it has been known that the combination of plants and light gives an exciting result in shadow play.
How to influence the room's appearance?
Lighting directed at the ceiling optically enlarges the room. The light illuminating the floor gives the impression of a lower and darker interior. Darkening the lower zones of the walls enlarges the space visually. Lighting a room with wall lamps makes the interior seem smaller.
Light color temperature
Each room requires the correct color of light. Choosing a warm or cool color has a functional significance and affects our mood and well-being.
Warm lighting affects our minds to feel more relaxed and at ease. But a cool lighting turns into a blue and is best for everyday work.
