The third episode of our Hotel Renovator Top Designer show starts today at 18:00 CET.
In this episode, our judges will be there to show you a new set of designs that will compete for the Top Designer and Mad Designer titles! The contestants for this week have been chosen from the overwhelming number of entries posted on our Discord server last week.

How does it work?
1. You post your amazing or funny/crazy design on the đźâcommunity-designs channel on our Discord, and you will become a participant 2. Our jury will search through designs and find the ones that catch their eye 3. Community emoji reactions are also very important in choosing the winner 4. We will reveal the winners on our live stream
The winners will be awarded extra game keys, and the Top Designer and Mad Designer roles on our Discord community server that will be valid until the next winners are selected!
As promised, we are introducing a new set of fixes to Hotel Renovator with the launch of Patch 2. The new patch addresses the most common issues you have brought to our attention since tha game launched. Here is the full list of introduced fixes:
A progression block after picking up the bellboy suit and closing the game has been eliminated
Missing lobby decoration issues have been fixed
The restaurant cleaning progression issue has been fixed
The issue causing the game to crash while the player is in the basement has been fixed
The issue causing the game to crash while loading the lobby area has been fixed
The issue causing the Hotel Naming pop-up to freeze after the player uses Alt+Tab has been fixed
Long loading times during game launch have been eliminated
The issue with the player being unable to complete the âCatch the Chickenâ quest has been resolved
The issue causing the âFill Modeâ tutorial not to appear has been fixed
Issues with playing the intro in both game modes have been fixed
The issue with each next floor of the same type being a partial duplicate of the one below has been resolved
The issue with spawning a second ghost when the player restarts the game during the âGhost Huntingâ quest has been resolved
The issue causing the âNoisy Neighbourâ quest to block on the third floor has been fixed
Horse animation bugs have been fixed
The bug allowing the player to finish the tutorial without going to the âBooking Appâ has been eliminated
The on-screen keyboard functionality issue while naming the hotel has been fixed
The issue with unreadable tips in the journal has been fixed
The âLost and Foundâ quest item spawning issues have been resolved
The issue causing Room 203 to be accessible to the player before the story quest has been eliminated
The issue causing a part of the lobby to remain unrenovated has been fixed
The issue causing a piece of flooring next to the main entrance to remain unrenovated has been fixed
The issue causing the player to get stuck in the elevator floor texture has been resolved
The handyman NPC clipping through the floor issue has been resolved
Floor and Wall materials and colours now match their thumbnails
Thank you so much for your patience. We aim to make Hotel Renovator an enjoyable experience for everyone, and weâre surely not done fixing the smaller issues. We will be updating you about future updates.

The first episode of Top Designer was a blast! We are ecstatic that you liked the idea for our show and had fun with us during live streams. The winners from the last show, RyGolde and ę§ Akiyami ę§, did an excellent job with their unique and crazy designs and can brag about the Top Designer and Mad Designer roles on our Discord server. The next episode is coming on Saturday 18th of March, at 18:00 CET.
Remember that you can still send your designs to participate for a reward in the Top Designer and Mad Designer categories. All you have to do is go to our Discord server and add your design to the community-designs channel until 12:00 CET on Friday the 17th. Images added after that time will be eligible for participation in the next Top Designer show the following week.
We cannot wait for the final selection for the upcoming episode. Letâs not forget that your engagement with the designs posted on our Discord server is taken under consideration when choosing the winner, so make sure to leave a reaction on the ones that you like!

In the weekly episodes, we are going to choose the best designs that you send our way on Discord. The launch of Hotel Renovator has been huge for us! We see a lot of amazing designs from you guys on our Discord and social media. While there are still some things that we need to work on, we will not stop working until the game experience is improved. That being said, Patch 1 is already here and hereâs the list of fixes that are included:
Item spawning in the Lost and Found quest is now fixed
Triggering of the ending cutscene when the player is not on the terrace in the Party Time quest is now fixed
â+â and â-â key hints for time control are fixed
Performance while using demolition tools on large surfaces has been optimised
NPC eyes clipping through textures have been fixed
The performance drop at the start of the game has been fixed
Some NPC animation bugs, like sitting in the air, have been fixed
The rain falling through the roof of the elevator has been fixed
Overall performance has been optimised
Rendering issues during cutscenes have been fixed
Textures and level of detail of NPCs have been optimised
The random tutorial pop-up display has been fixed
Female NPC walking animation has been improved
The Cowboy Special Guest quest progression is now fixed
The elevator texture change while switching floors has been eliminated
New room number plaques have been added
The missing requirements on the pool renovation pop-up have been added
Some localisation issues have been solved
We hope this improves your Hotel Renovator experience while we add new fixes that will be introduced in Patch 2, which is planned for next week.
