The game is not an otome but a fun, cute, short, and enjoyable!
Besides the fated encounter of the undersea princess and french fries, it's also telling about the friendship of 4 main characters.

There are some BL ish or yuri ish or romance ish scenes within the full version later. They are short and fun, and I hope you enjoy them as well.
The game are a lot animated (maybe the most animated game I made so far) and here are some of the samples:

I'm also running a crowdfunding campaign now for this game (I think I can't promote it here now, so I simply tell you about it, and I hope it'll be okay) and depends on it, I'm considering to add some additional short routes.
Happy Late New Year and some announcement about Roseverte's works.
Happy Late New Year and Happy Early Lunar New Year!
I apologize for not updating more often. To put it shortly, last year Roseverte works are full with learning unity and some other works which is not ready to be announced yet at this moment.
Still, I got some news about the current progress to share.
How to Take Off Your Mask PV is being aired inside Animate Japan
So, the game will have a browser game type version on Animate Games (Japanese version only), which is different with the current mobile version. It's a more simplified version than the current one.
Moving to Unity
Those who have followed me on Twitter might already know this but I'm learning unity now and I plan to use it on my future works. Sadly it doesn't go as smooth as I thought it would be, as it's quite different than my former engine, and a lot of feature needs to be customized to match my needs.
The reason of this changes is, beside the former engine is not getting updated to match the newest OS, unity has more potential to widen the platform where I can release the game. There will be more issue to settle though.
Although I can't reveal yet all new features, I still have some stuffs that I can announce. They will be implemented in Roseverte future products.
Blinking eyes and mouth movements
The new engine enable mouth movements and blinking eyes, though the file size might be bigger than the current one.
Animated UI
User Interface like the in game menu and others will be different from the current one and a simple animation will be added to it.
Screen Size will be 1280x720
Some people might have noticed but the current Roseverte Game is still using 1136x960 resolution. The future games will have bigger file size than the current one.
I will also try to implement the joypad control better for PC but I can't guarantee this yet as I meet a lot of issue regarding to the game controller now.
That's all and happy playing :D

PS. There are other news that will need your attention for CAFE 0 The Drowned Mermaid and Duplicity
Urgent announcement about Mac OSx Catalina Update
Today I got an email which mentioned that people who has played the game with the non notarized version got a trouble to play the notarized version, so I decided to reverted all the apps which I has updated to support Catalina to the previous version while I'll try to find out the solution.
Only East Tower series are still at 32 bit which won't work with Catalina, so I will build a non notarized 64 bit version first to settle the issue first.
I already tested but the non notarized 64 bit version apps are still working fine with Catalina, so that should be fine for the temporary solution.
Beside this, I also noticed the earlier build of CAFE 0 Mermaid achievements are not triggered on Mac. This will also get my priority too. Hopefully I can update everything until tomorrow.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Chu-3/Roseverte

Yakiniku Party, and the Migration to Unity
Hi, and I apologize for not updating my development blog more often ^^;
Yakiniku Party
First, I want to tell about the marvelous dinner yakiniku party with Eroolia (kokouta) casts! Not all could come due to the schedule but it was really fun!
It's really exciting to work with them, I feel as if I really went into the Eroolia's world ːleeaː ːreginaː
Learning Unity
So yes, I've spent my last few days in learning unity and it's not easy as it's very different with the engine I used before.
First, I'm thinking to use "Utage" which is quite famous in Japanese visual novel community. This engine though, doesn't use text files, but it's excel based. Which means, the programming method is quite different with the method I know so far. It enables me to try many new effects, but there's also some issue I got as the glittering CG I like might not be as easy to produce as before. I still need to learn a lot about it.
There are various reasons behind this engine change, beside Adobe Air has been transferred to Harman and the price could be expensive depends on my earning, the previous engine also had a poor support for game controller, which, if possible I'd like to support better in future.
New Game Resolution
I'm thinking to change my game resolution to 1920x1080 (HD) from now on. It's a lot bigger than the previous ones, which means might cause the file size a lot bigger. Still, I'm considering to keep the windowed mode to 1280x720, since if the windowed mode is the same HD size, the game will still occupy the whole monitor screen and it would be hard to see other program's windows. Not sure yet if this is doable though, as I'm still learning to use unity ^^;

Beside the hidden secret... which might be too spoilery to reveal, what I would recommend most in this game is, absolutely Ludovic <3 I can't wait to see how you will react of his action.
