First of all thank you again for the amazing support you are giving to Hundred Days. Your interest and your feedbacks are amazing.
We need your help to translate the different technical wine-related terms, we are not asking you to localize the whole game but to give us some help with all those words that only wine passionate as all of you will probably know.
The platform we are using is called Crowdin, here the link to Hundred Days project on Crowdin: https://crwd.in/hundred-days
In order to participate in the localization you need to sign up, but the website also uses Google and Facebook login.
The tool is really easy to use, you select your language, you open the file you want to translate and on your left side you will see all the entries, in the center part you can see the word/phrase in english (english is the base language) and on the right side you can comment; you can also upvote/downvote other people translation.
We are starting with different sets of words about winemaking but you can also find really common words.
At the moment we are working on these languages: Italian German French Spanish Russian Chinese Simplified Japanese Korean
If you have some questions or problems about the localization project please join our Discord and feel free to write us.
Thank you for so much for all the support you are providing to Hundred Days ^^
Quick Update
Hello Winemakers!
First of all, we would like to thank you all for wishlisting Hundred Days! Your interest in our game and your fantastic feedbacks so far are absolutely mindblowing.
It’s been a while since we shared an update: we have been a little bit silent in the last few weeks after Spring Game Festival mainly due to Covid-19 pandemic worldwide situation but we have been really busy digging through all the survey entries.
We want to reassure you that the development is still moving forward, a little bit slower than usual, but still going strong.
A lot of good ideas came up by all of you playing the demo, in case you missed it, you can download it here: https://brokenarmsgames.itch.io/hundred-days
If you are interested to connect with us and other people from Hundred Days community, we have created a Discord server where you can join this growing community and keep up to date with the development of the game.
Big news today, Thanks to Indie Megabooth and The Steam Game Festival we can share to you a little demo of Hundred Days ^^
Please Enjoy it and be free to tell us what do you think.
The Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition features dozens of demos available to download and play, as well as other highlighted games from the Indie MEGABOOTH, The MIX, Day of the Devs and WINGS.
Little announcement: if you will be visiting EGX next week in London, we will be showcasing Hundred Days for the first time ever (😬) in the Leftfield Collection area. Here some information about EGX: https://www.egx.net/egx And here a list of other awesome indie friends showcasing at Leftfield with us: https://www.egx.net/egx/2019/the-leftfield-collection
For the unfortunate that won't be able to attend, almost a month ago we spent a little bit of time in the vineyards in our area to check the ripeness status of the grapes before the harvest started.
[previewyoutube="GowncA8mkCQ;full"]
We encountered some final stages of "invaiatura": grape changing color, you can still see some small green grapes with photosynthetic activity, lower sugar level (3-5%), really acidic and with compact texture.
We also noticed some crop thinning: the process of cutting clusters of fruits in order to allow the vine to give nutrients to the biggest and better grapes.
In the video you can see a little bit of comparison with what's actually happening into the game (still work in progress, there is a ton of stuff to fix) and the reality, we hope you like the result.
ps: you can see also a little preview of the new UI design, let us know in the comment if you like it :)
Dev Blog 03 - Nature System
This week we will talk about the dynamic systems in Hundred Days. Fundamentally there are 3 main system that the player can not control.
Seasons
The games is turn based, every year has 20 turns, 5 turns per season
Weather
Weather has a HUGE impact on the gameplay, you must adjust your strategy to compensate the weather and temperature.
There are different weather conditions:
Sunny
Overcast
Rain
Snow
Fog
This 5 condition occurs naturally through the seasons every year, but there are also some contingencies like:
Storm
Hail Storm
Frostbite
Heat waves
Temperature
The temperature is really important to help the ripe the grapes and to give them the right amount of flavor ( if your wine need it).
You can track the Season, weathercast and temperature in your handy calendar:
Soil
It’s really important to study well the soil before you plant your new vineyard, because all the data have a big impact on the type of work you have to do and of course not every terrain is good for every vine type. Fore Example, Grandpa's vine has a almost unrealistic Slope (50%), if you don’t perform Terracing you will not be able to work with your tractor in the vineyard, taking much longer ( more turn's) to finish the tasks, on the other hand you can have a higher Planting Density and produce more grapes.

First off, we would like to thank all of you for wishlisting Hundred Days! Your interest in our game and your fantastic feedback so far is absolutely outstanding.
We were really busy preparing Gamescom, but now we have finally time to share with you where we are now and what we are working on!
Buildings
Winery
This is where the “magic” happens, the different stages of the Winery will give the player more space.
We leave it up to you to handle the extra space, you can increase the number of tanks you can fit in your winery to produce more wine, or buy a new machinery to unlock new packaging settings, or a brand new filter to be sure that you will not have problem once the wine is shipped.
Warehouse
In the Warehouse all the marketing and the selling will take place. The evolution of this building will increase the number of bottle you can store, the number of order you can prepare and so on… This will be really handy when you try to scale your global wine export!
Toolshack
You can achieve a good quality wine only if you really take care of your vineyards, this is why you need to upgrade your Toolshack to unlock new tractors and tools that can help you accelerate the work and be more efficient.
So this is all for this dev blog, next week we start to go deeper with Season, weather system, soil system!

Today we’d like to start share with you more detail on the gameplay of Hundred Days!
The game has 3 different areas of interest:
Toolshack
With the Toolshack you will handle all the task relative to the vineyards, and will store your tools and tractors.
Winery
In the winery you will take care of the winemaking process.
Warehouse
Warehouse is where you will handle the logistics, marketing and selling of your final product
Board
The Board at the center of the screen represent your time. You must organize your day, trying to manage the task you have to do.
Task that you can perform are represented in form of cards. The cards you will receive at the beginning of your turn depend on what you have done in the past turns.
Cards
Cards can have 3 parameters
Shape: the actual shape once the task is placed on the board
Weather condition: if the card have some limitation or not due to the weather
Cost of the task
Once you drag a card on the board the card will change shape:
