Sorry for the April fools joke on 1st April. That wasn't exactly true... ;)

Today's announcement is to tell you that the band is still together.
We are just so swamped with our new project!

This new project is a derivative work of Hunger Dungeon.
It will be a small PvE game.

We cannot give out any more information just yet.
But once we have something to show you, we'll make another announcement.

Due to the fact that we are so busy with the new project, the updates for Hunger Dungeon won't be as regular as before. Of course it doesn't mean we won't update Hunger Dungeon.

New Hero - Fishman Cutthroat



  • Story
    As right hand to captain Octo Pirate, his ultimate goal was to have the captain assassinated and take the helm. During their expedition to the Hunger Dungeon he led a coup, which ultimately failed. Little did he know how this opened up another opportunity.

    "The opportunity of a life time. Keep a low profile..."

  • Skills


    [Fishman Dash]: Dash a short distance and leave a poisonous trail of Dirty Water on the ground.


    [Wave Slash]: Basic Attacks on a trail of Dirty Water discharges a wave that inflicts poison.


    [Backstab]: Backstab deals doubled damage to enemies.


    [Miracle of Water]: Use a potion to recover Hunger.


Balance - Hero



  • Old Prisoner


    • [Fatal Sprint] - reduced the travel distance of Fatal Sprint.
    • [Fatal Sprint] - increased damage from 5 -> 6.
    • [Sinner's Irons] - reduced movement speed from 135 -> 125.


  • Nimble Assassin


    • [Scared to Death] - increased cooldown time from 5 -> 8 seconds.
    • Increased Basic Attack by 1.
    • Fixed [Back Stab] damage (For more details please refer to "Others" section)


  • Element Fuse


    • [Void] teleport distance has been reduced to the 60 yards surrounding the Hero.

New Skin



  • Samurai - Ronin Skin



New Deathmatch Mode (Single round, no energy round)



  • This is a newly remade mode.
  • 5 mins death...or glory.
  • You will be given random equipment and money.
  • "Newly adjusted tutorial" will guide you through.


Modified Mode - Classic Mode (Previously "Deathmatch")



  • The standard number of rounds has been changed to 2.
  • The playtime for each round has been changed to 150 seconds.
  • The initial gold coins has been adjusted.


Overhauled - Tutorial



  • Changed the current tutorial to include three stages.
  • The overall time to complete the tutorial has been shortened.
  • You will have a better understanding of the mechanics, deathmatch, and Energy Shard having completed the tutorial.


Balance - RANK



  • Changes to each RANK have been made. Therefore, you may see difference in the leaderboards but your overall score won't be affected.
  • The RANK ELO calculation has been modified to have S ranked players retain more score when they lose a match.


Balance - Dungeon Doubloons & EXP



Balance -Daily Bonus



  • Changed "Daily Bonus" to "First Win Daily Bonus". You will have to win a match to receive the bonus. (Only Free-For-All)


System - Resell Items



  • 15% return when selling scrolls and equipment back to the shopkeep

  • Holy Sister


    • New mode: Increase 5 Heroic when you hit an object with Attack.
    • Time to enter Meditation has been decreased.


  • Element Fuse


    • "Void" won't be triggered while casting "Element Explode".

  • New buff: 3 Health regeneration every 3 seconds.

  • Health increased from 30 -> 45.

  • Damage increased from 1 -> 2.
  • Health decreased from 20 -> 15.

  • A special effect has been added.

Others



  • System optimization to detect players using third party applications
  • A.I that replaces the Host after leaving a match has been fixed to not just stand still.
  • A bug when casting scrolls like Meteorite and Lightning next to a wall has been fixed.
  • It's rare but some occasions chanting will still happen when the player has died. This is a bug that not yet fixed but we are sure this is caused by high PING. We are currently working on this now.

Pre-announcement Update - What's to come.

It's been a while since our last update.

The team has been at home enjoying the fun and love over the Lunar New Year holiday so there will be no game update this week. However we would like to announce the next update to give you a rough idea of what is coming up!


  • "Deathmatch Mode" will be changed to "Classic Mode".
    Due to a number of reasons we have decided to change the name of the Deathmatch mode to Classic Mode. There will be several improvements taken to optimize the game experience as well.

  • New "Deathmatch" mode
    A new Deathmatch mode will be introduced. This will be similar to the existing mode but will only be a single 5 minute round, and without the Energy Shard round. The more kills you achieve the more chance you stand in winning. More details will follow later.

  • Equipment and Spell Scrolls Revamped
    We have reviewed lots of the equipment and Spell Scrolls and we have made many improvements on the following:
    Therapy Staff, Elven Shelter, Troll Dentures, Laurel, Spell Book, Endless Staff, Holy Ring, Scavenger Hat, Avarice Ring, Greedy Staff, Chicken Leg, Broadest Sword, Colossus Ring, Butcher, Elegant Lance, Raging Lance, Elven Boots, Colossus Belt.

  • Balancing
    Holy Sister will be buffed (slightly).

  • SNew Skin
    Samurai's Ronin Skin will be available soon!!


Please note: due to time constraints, the above announcements are not guaranteed to be implemented in the next update.

Chinese New Year Login Celebration

Free Hero Weekend - Magic Armor

Ho there, Dungeoneers!

To celebrate the release of Magic Armor, we will be offering players the chance to play our newest Hero for free all weekend!



From Friday 27th through Sunday 29th January, Magic Armor will be marked as "Free" in the roster and can be played in any game mode. Furthermore, any proficiency obtained while playing Magic Armor over the weekend will be retained if you decide to purchase the Hero at a later date.

Optimization - Dungeon Doubloons



  • Increased Dungeon Doubloon gain for victories and losses by 140%
  • Increased the Dungeon Doubloons from daily matchmaking bonus from 25 -> 35
  • Dragon Mode no longer gives Dungeon Doubloons for victories


Optimization - Team Deathmatch



  • Players can now solo queue for Team Deathmatch or queue in a team of 2 to 3 players.

<*>Vagrant Ninja

We have completely overhauled the Vagrant Ninja to be more accessible, allowing for more Spell Scroll and equipment usage.

  • Removed knockback from Basic Attack
  • Basic Attacks can be used at any time
  • Meow Sword launches meow swords and costs Heroic.
  • Receiving magic damage will generate Heroic
  • Ninja - Smoke Bomb mana cost increase from 45 -> 50
  • Ninja - Smoke Bomb generates 150 Heroic.
  • Meow Release - Clone generates 75 Heroic.




  • Dwarf Forgemaster


    • Petrochemical Skin duration increased from 4 -> 2.5 sec
    • Basic Attack move distance decreased from 0.6 -> 0.4


  • Orc Brave


    • Basic Attack move distance decreased from 0.7 -> 0.45


    Princess Ranger


      Reduced the movement speed when collecting arrows from 1.5x -> 1.2x


  • Spell Scroll - Silence

      Price increased from 200 -> 250


  • Equipment - Sacred Sword

    • Price increased from 375 -> 540


  • Mechanic overhaul - scoring

    • The first player to get a kill in the round will score +1 extra point
    • Your score will no longer drop below 0
    • A suicide death will give a point to the last person that attacked the dead player
    • If two or more players have the same score at the end of the round, the player will the highest filled Hunger bar will be victorious


  • Status Effect changes - Silence

    • The Silence effect will also prevent the player from using inherent special abilities


  • Status Effect changes - Slow and Accelerated

    • The slow speed effect will not completely override the acceleration effect.
      Example: 100 movement speed, 1.5x acceleration effect, slow 50% movement speed
      Previously: 100
    • 0.5 = 50
      Now: 100
    • 1.5
    • 0.5 = 75


  • Environmental changes - Ice terrain

    • The ground covering of ice has become less...icy...and is not as slippery as before.


  • Mechanics - Selling Spell Scrolls

    • Instead of simply discarded Spell Scrolls, they can now be sold.




Other Changes



  • Fixed a bug that caused player resurrection to get interrupted
  • Fixed a bug that players could destroy their own summoned creations
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes trapped players outside of the stage
  • Fixed some player's ranks displaying incorrectly
  • We've updated our ant-hack system again. Cheaters be warned.
