I am really glad to announce Hunteroids has been released!
Remember all you have available in the first version:
Campaign Mode: 8 cities to save (+40 levels), including leaderboards and Steam achievements
Survival Mode: Hunter the maximum number of meteorites in the shortest time possible and be part of the top10
Challenges: Do you want more? You have 3 type of challenges: life, bubbles and time, including Steam leaderboards (12 challenges in total)
It has been ~1.5 years, learning as I went through all the challenges. Exciting period that brings me finally here, today, finalizing a personal project I promised myself to finish. I am always trying to find ways to improve and explore new things. Let's keep this mind always, no matter what.

Release date of Hunteroids!
Hi all!
After one year and a half, I am so happy to announce that Hunteroids will be released on September 6th at 19h00 CEST!
It has been an exciting learning period but I feel it is time to close what we started some time ago. The game will finally include:
Campaign mode with 8 cities & +40 levels.
Different challenges (life, time, bubbles), 12 levels.
Survival mode where you will have to hunter as many meteorites as possible.
Steam leaderships for all modes.

Where am I? What remains? Expected Delivery Date?
Hi all!
It has been a long time since the last time I posted so I would like to bring you some updates:
The Campaign mode is ready: 8 cities and 40+ levels to enjoy. Each city will bring new mechanics.
The Challenges are finished: 12 levels from 3 different cities.
The Survival mode is being reviewed, trying to improve the gameplay.
General review of the game & polish, localization, thresholds, trailer, promotional pictures, ...
This is the last part of the game but still, I want to spend some time consolidating everything and ensuring I can bring you the best I can do. Because of this, I am expecting to tentatively release the game in Q3, most probably in September, after Summer holidays.

Art of the Demo renewed!
Hi there! There is a new release of the Demo available improving art of the 3 cities! Now each city has different building, animations and background! Enjoy them, try to get the 3 stars & share it! Cheers!
New Demo available!

As you may know, after the Steam Fest Next, I wanted to simplify the Demo to help players to enjoy the basic mechanics instead of making it that complicated so eventually nobody enjoys.
I have been working on a Demo for already a month that I believe it's more fun, by following the premises above.
In short, this new Demo contains:
3 basic cities with 9 levels + 3 improved tutorials explaining the basis
English/Spanish support
Gamepad support
Better GUI
Local Scores (Stars, Life, Bubbles, Time)
No Challenges mode (for final version)
No Survival mode, same as Challenges
No Online Leaderboards (for final version)
No Achievements, same as leadership boards

Next Steps after Steam Next Fest in October

I would like to share with you the next steps of the development: what I am doing now & what I will do for the final release.
The last Steam Next Fest helped me out to define how I can proceed and here you the main takeaways:
The tutorial must improve
Limit as much as possible the scope of the Demo. No rankings, no achievements, no challenges, no survival
Reduce the difficulty of the Demo
Final version: Reduce the scope, no Early Access, release in Q1,2023 if possible
Based on that, what I am doing now? Basically, I am fully working on a new version of the Demo:
Only focused on showing how the basic mechanics work: Bring a clear & well-defined tutorial in several levels so the player will enjoy the game.
Limit the scope & reduce the difficulty: no need to have rankings, achievements or challenges/survival modes. They will come with the full version.
It will take few weeks until I have the new Demo fully available but I hope this will make the players enjoy the few levels included, avoiding frustration or boredom.

Hunteroids Demo launched!

After 6 months intensively working on Hunteroids, I can proudly say I have a demo to share with all of you. The journey is being challenging, like any other learning process, but also quite fun. Will you save the city & get the 3 stars? Give a try & tell me how it was!
The scope of the demo is simple:
1 tutorial city of 4 levels where I hope you will learn the basis.
1 city of 5 levels to put everything you learnt in practice. Here, you will have online & personal rankings.
4 challenges, in case you get 3 stars in the city above. The challenges will be based on life, time, bubbles or everything at the same time.
I really hope you enjoy the demo and have some fun! Please, share your thoughts, questions and concerns in the forum. That will help me to learn, fix and define the next steps accordingly.
This demo should be just a small piece of what will finally come. The scope and final version will depend on how the demo goes. In any case, I will for sure release a full version based on your feedback and lessons learnt from the experience.
