Asia Focus Test Community Event Notice
Celebrate the Asia Focus Test by participating in the various community event we’ve prepared for you!

■ Event 1: Asia Focus Test Best Play Clips
1. Schedule
- Event Period: 12/4(Sun) - 12/16(Fri) 6:59 AM (PST)
- Winner Announcement: within 12/20(Tues)
2. Details
- Share your best play clips from the Asia Focus Test on Discord.
- The footage you share may be featured in a highlight video on the official HypeSquad YouTube channel
- 10 Squads with the best clip will be randomly selected and a game money coupon reward worth around $10 will be given. (To be distributed during Early Access)
[How to Participate]
1) Post the Asia Focus Test best play clips on the #gameplay-clips channel in Discord during the event period! (Upload file to Discord, post YouTube link, post Drive link, etc.)
※ Please note that Discord's file size limit for uploads is 100 MB.
2) Remember to mention @Clipevent and include your in-game nickname from the Asia Focus Test when sharing videos!
3. Important
- The clips shared during the event period may be used by Netmarble for promotional and marketing purposes. The consent form will be made available on a separate channel on the official Discord when the event is over.
- You may be excluded as an event candidate or your clip may be edited if your face is shown or your voice can be heard in the clip.
- The coupon code will be distributed during the Early Access through a private thread on Discord.

■ Event 2: Hashtag Event

- Take a Screenshot of the newly added content and share them in any social media. Share the link of the post as we will be randomly selecting 10 Squads for the winner and reward them with game money coupon worth around $10. (To be distributed during Early Access)
3. How to Participate
- Take a Screenshot of using the Touchdown Mode, HypeSquare Mode, and Customization Feature.
- Upload the above screenshot with the required hashtag in any social media set to public. (Must post each screenshot separately)

※ If you post all 3 screenshot in 1 post, it will be counted as 1.

Youtube Creator Town 2022 - HypeSquad Super League
Youtube Creator Town 2022 - HypeSquad Super League will be held on 12/8(Thurs)!
More than a hundred creators will gather together and team up in HypeSquad to test their abilities in close combat! The event will be streamed live for everyone to enjoy!
Also, the new community mode HypeSquare where players can enjoy 7 different mini-games, will be open to everyone participating in the Asia Focus Test at the end of the HypeSquad Super League at 12/8(Thurs) 6:59 AM (PST).
■ HypeSquare Super League Schedule
1) Event Match: 12/8(Thurs) 1 AM - 3 AM (PST)
→ Before the main game, creators will be playing to complete missions and earn points in the new community mode [HypeSquare]! The leaderboard will be ranked according to the number of points acquired through completing missions.
2) Main Game and Award Ceremony: 12/8(Thurs) 3 AM - 6:30 AM (PST)
→ In the main game, players will compete in Survival and Touchdown mode and will be ranked according to the points won in both modes.

- Rides Skin: Black&Gold Ride Skin can be purchased with 15,000 Coins
- June Skin: Black&Gold Ninja Skin can be purchased with 20,000 Coins
- Profile Icon: Log in during the Asia Focus Test period for 3 days to receive the Black&Gold Profile Icon.
3. Note
- Rewards will be available to use even after the end of the test.
- Black&Gold Ride and June skin may be available for purchase in subsequent tests.
■ Event 3: HypeSquare Participation Mission Event
1. Schedule
- Event Period: 12/4(Sun) - 12/12(Mon) 11 PM (PST)
2. Details
- Complete the HypeSquare Participation Mission and achieve the Celebration Achievements to receive Coins through [Achievements] - [Heroic Achievements] - [Celebration Achievements].
3. Note
- The Coins received through the event will be reset after the Asia Focus Test period.

[Dev_note] Asia Focus Test Preview
We’re excited to finally show the updated HypeSquad! Many of the feedback from the last test was taken into consideration in this build.
Check below for the the new and updated details implemented in the Asia Focus Test Build.
1. Mode
- In Survival mode, the Gray Field Damage during the final round will increase from 500 → 600.
- Players can gain buffs by capturing bases in Conquest and Survival Mode.
- Successfully capturing base gives 10 Analysis Points and there are no limits as to how many times players can gain base capture points.
- Holding a base will give 1 Analysis Point per second and the more bases players are holding means more points gain per second.
(Ex. 3 Captured Base, 3 Base Analysis Points per second)
- On death, players will lose all Analysis Points.
- Base Analysis Point Effect are as follows:
▶ 100 Analysis Points Phase 1 Effect: HP +10%
▶ 200 Analysis Points Phase 2 Effect: MOV SPD +10%
▶ 350 Analysis Points Phase 3 Effect: Damage taken is decreased by 10%
▶ 500 Analysis Points Phase 4 Effect: Cooldowns are reduced by 10%
- Two New Mode Added.
[New: Touchdown]
■ New Mode first featured at G-STAR 2022 Touchdown Mode will be added.
■ Touchdown is a 5v5 mode where players have to escort a Quantum Bomb that spawns in the center of the map to the enemy base and detonate it. Each detonation scores 1 point, and you must earn 5 points to win.
■ In Touchdown Mode, all players receive the Quantum Field Effect.
- In the arena in Touchdown mode, all players receive the Quantum Field effect, which accelerates the charging speed of the Ultimate skill.
- 3 minutes after the start of the main game, the Quantum Field effect becomes stronger and increases the MOV SPD of all players.
- 6 minutes after the start of the main game decreases the Cooldown of all players.
- 9 minutes after the start of the main game, applies 'damage taken decrease' to all players.
[New: HypeSquare]
■ A community mode called HypeSquare which will be first revealed through the 2022 Youtube Creator Town Super League will be added.
■ Players can enter HypeSquare freely and socialize and enjoy minigames (Unboxing, Run n’ Run, etc.,)
■ HypeSquare will open during the Asia Focus Test after the 2022 Youtube Creator Town Super League ends at 12/8(Thurs) 6:59 AM (PST).
2. Weapon
- Unique (Passive) skills will be added and improvements will be made on delays after using a skill and the skill hit effects.
- Balance changes will be made to some weapons.

Chain Delivery(MR) max distance will decrease from 25m → 20m.
Butcher’s Bill(Q) Damage will increase by 15%.
[Harvester]
In the Mist(R) Skill Cooldown will decrease from 12s → 11s
[Force Shield]
Bulwark(MR) overall Shield Energy will decrease by 20%.
Bulwark(MR) Shield Energy recharge time will decrease from 15s → 13s
[Frost Cannon]
Cooling Bomb(R) Skill Cooldown will increase from 12s → 13s
Freeze effect will be added to Freezer Trap(MR).
[Combobuster]
Trick Shot(MR) Skill Cooldown will decrease from 8s → 7s.
Trick Shot(MR) Knockback effect will become stronger than before.
Blunderbuss(E) Skill Cooldown will decrease from 12s → 11s.
Sticky Bomb(R) Skill Cooldown will decrease from 11s → 10s.
[Pulse Staff]
Basic ATK overall damage will increase by 12%.
Leaping Bash(MR) overall damage will increase by 12%.
Striker(E) overall damage will increase by 12%.
Whipping Willow(R) overall damage will increase by 12%.
[Hyper Axe]
Slam Chuck(MR) max distance will decrease from 22m → 18m.
[Wheelie]
Increase in Damage by 20% for 3.5s buff will be added to Razor Rider(R).
[Laito Blade]
Basic ATK overall damage will decrease by 8%.
Ghost Slash(MR) overall damage will decrease by 8%.
Blade Brandish(E) overall damage will decrease by 8%.
Master Slash(R) overall damage will decrease by 8%.
[Striker]
Grappling Shot(MR) will be changed and will not be able to pull players using Bulwark.
[Vita Spear]
Double Piercer(MR) Skill will change to a new skill Thrust(MR).
-> Thrust(MR) Charges at a target within 6m and attacks up to 2 times. The first hit will stun targets for 0.5s and the second hit will restore a fixed 49 HP.
3. Others
- 5 New Character Skin and 3 Weapon Skin will be added.
Renee: Detective, Walter: Viking, Security, Aida: Luna Moon, Kaija: Virtual
Combobuster: Griffin, Force Shield: Sheriff, Pulse Staff: Pink Kitty
- Color Customization feature for character skin will be added.
(※ Customization preview) - 11 New Emote, 20 New Emoticons, 14 Spray will be added.
- Improvements will be made to automatically revive dead team members if the player is standing on their occupied base.
- Balance changes will be made to some augmenters.
- Instant Recovery Ability price will decrease from 300 → 250.
- Passive Healing Capsule total healing amount will increase from 500 → 700.

How to Participate in the Asia Focus Test
We would like to thank everyone for being patient with us as we finally announce the schedule for the next test. As mentioned in the previous notice, the test which will start from 12/5 (Mon) will be focused on the Asia region.
The new mode “Touchdown” will be available during the test and more information on the new mode and other changes will be announced through another notice at a later date.

Changes to the Final Test
First off, we would like to thank everyone who visited the HypeSquad booth at G-STAR 2022.
Seeing everyone’s excitement while enjoying the various stage event and game was a big boost of strength for us. Moreover, we received valuable constructive feedback which was greatly informative and productive.
Through the feedback, we realized we still have much more improvements to make and some of them could not be done within the limited time that we have. As such, we plan to have the upcoming test on december focused on certain region servers (Asia) to better monitor the process. The Final test will be changed to Asia Focus Test and the name will change accordingly.

2. Open Server: Asia Regional Servers
We’ll look into all feedback we’ve received through the previous test and work to make improvements. And we’ll bring them all into the Final Test which will arrive sooner than you think.
