Here are the changes that will be made with the closing of the Global Alpha Test.

6/17 (Fri) Maintenance and Patch Note Notice
Greetings Squad, this is the Dev Team.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has taken the time to participate in the HypeSquad Alpha Test.
Currently, the Dev team is looking into the various feedback and monitoring the game in real-time to see if everything is working as intended. However, we would like to ask for your understanding on some matters as there are issues that cannot be fixed quickly within the one-week period we have for the Alpha Test.
But still, the Dev team will be working to fix some of the issues so that everyone can have a smooth testing experience for the rest of the remaining days for the Alpha Test.

1. Balance
We found out that the knockback effect improvement applied to the skills was stronger than intended. As this slight difference hinders the player’s experience with movement, we will slightly lower the overall knockback value for all skills. Furthermore, this will fix the Link Cleaver “Chain Delivery” skill which has been affected by the above situation causing a skill canceling issue.
The TTK(Time To Kill) in the early stages (Round 1-2) was relatively longer than the TTK(Time To Kill) in the middle stages (Round 3-4). We’re aware of this situation and continuously monitoring both the game and player suggestions. To ease the TTK in the early stages, the overall damage amount will be increased for all weapons below Epic (Regular, Greater, Rare) to reduce the gap in attack power between upgrades.
2. “Solo Mode” Schedule Change
While we wanted to test several modes during the Alpha Test, we were concerned about the number of players matching being unbalanced for each mode. However, since many of our players have commented on the schedule, we’ll be making adjustments so that everyone can enjoy longer Solo Mode during the remaining Alpha Test period.
Current: 14:00 ~ 16:00, 22:00 ~ 24:00
Change: 22:00 ~ next day 16:00
3. QoL Changes
Limit Frame Rate options(120, 144, 240) will be added.
Option to adjust the Announcement Volume will be added.
Ping display time will be adjusted from 30 seconds -> 60 seconds for better communication.
Waiting time in the Prep Point will be reduced from 100 seconds -> 70 seconds so players may enter the match faster.
Billboard sound volume will be reduced so that it will not interfere with the gameplay.
4. Bug Fix
Fix to prevent nickname masking and use of certain cheats.
Issue where using the Link Cleaver Chain Delivery skill in the Prep Point causes the player to enter the map before the start of the match will be fixed.
Issue where the Item Vendor NPC Magpie sometimes gets stuck around the map will be fixed.
Display issue where “Total Kills” in the Profile > Stats page is in Japanese if the Text Language is set to Simplified Chinese will be fixed.
The Dev Team will continue to work hard and do our best to improve HypeSquad. We’re excited to work on the different changes and improvements based on the several opinions and feedback our players have given and we look forward to sharing them with everyone in the future.
