Pretty Dumb Update Visual Rework Now Live!

Heyo!
There's a visual rework! Hurray!
What does that include?


  • Moved from UE4 To UE5
  • Remade all 7 maps (ya, main menu too)
  • Added new tiles and actually remade everything in Destruction. Now there are 6 mini arenas that are connected via shaft y'all gotta wallrun through with drones after ya
  • Remade the main menu UI (now it's hopefully clearer how you level up and unlock new stuff)
  • Remade the boosts shop menu (and added quirky lil descriptions to make you giggle)
  • Added floating damage numbers (kinda new gameplay direction)
  • Buffed Bonk The Bat to start with a 1.5x speed boost
  • Added small HUD element for temp boost effects
  • Remade HUD healthbar and coin tracker (it will get future changes)
  • Fixed so many bugs I'm too lazy to type them all but trust me the transition between engines wasn't smooth.
  • Added more bugs to fix later (or to declare them as features if I can't fix them)
  • Added a bunch of easter eggs in every map. BONUS POINTS TO WHOMEVER SENDS ME SCREENSHOTS OF ALL OF THEM

Change Log Early Access 01.3

Heyo! Fixed some more bugs that were bothering you guys.
I'm planning a visual rework soon before I add more content (to save myself from making some stuff twice). I can't give exactly a date because I'm dealing with other stuff as well rn but I'm still here and will probably bug you with feedback requests and minor changes until then.

  • made second jump slightly higher than first
  • made the wallrunning end after 2 sec of continuous wallrunning - resets when you land on the ground
  • made bullet spread 0 when adsing
  • (hopefully) fixed flinging sideways when you run out of wall when wallrunning
  • fixed having toggle crouch on while sliding: pressing crouch mid slide doesn't cancel the slide
  • fixed toggle crouch on: animation sometimes stay in crouch position even when it shouldn't
  • made the Not Bad recoil smaller and easier to control
  • added head bobbing when running
  • added a camera shakes when stopping vertically fast (aka falling hard)
  • added a 200 fps limit as requested
  • added a note about losing xp leaving mission in the pause menu
  • remembered to change the build version in the menu

Heyo! I patched common bugs found in the latest build!

I'm planning out an update road map right now so I'll post it soon.
For now it'll be mostly bug fixes until I have the plan working.

  • Increased firing sound of Not Bad
  • fixed the sliding animation not showing when in air
  • increased sliding sfx volume
  • fixed some boosts sfx not being affected by sfx volume settings
  • fixed text in boosts sometimes clipping out of the box (or getting cropped)
  • fixed color of "waste coins" boost being affected by "second chances"

  • added a looping check queues for firing and adsing (should make using the weapons even smoother)

  • fixed Laser Katana looking unlocked even if it wasn't in weapons selection
  • added a 288 fps limit as requested on Steam

Fixed XP not saving on restart bug (hopefully)

I fixed it hopefully (it was due to an error on the loading script I missed).

Idiotic Launches In Early Access!

I wanna thank y'all for sticking by for the past year, making memes, giving feedback and suggestions, and playtesting my broken experimental builds.

And if you're seeing this game for the first time: Welcome! You're invited to join in on the development of this idiotic, high pace - low IQ game!

And of course this can't be an announcement without a change log, here are the change logs of the past few months:

-changed the green apple to "not not bad" (I won't fix it until I know the current weapons work wll)
-Remade the Not Gauntlet
-Fixed the weapon switching bug
-added more height to the mantle
-added more force to jumping off wallruns and mantles
-made wallrunning speed faster
-Made mantle and quick climbs faster
-Added boosts! (currently there are two you can get- won't add more until I know these two work well)
-Added a boost shop you can get to from the menu or pressing B in game
-Added Coints! (can be found in the arena rewards and in the challenge rooms in Destruction)
-Changed the arena rewards sound
-Added an exit option to the arena every 5 minutes
-Added a split tile to the destruction mode
-Added challenge rooms in the Destruction gamemode, currently only "race"-(get to the coin before it despawns)
-Added a debug mode "Immortal" press X once to become immortal (get sound and effect), press again to return to normal (get only sound)
-Added more range to all melee weapons
-Reduced the recoil on Not Bad and made ADSing a bit faster
-Added graphic settings - get to it either from the options in the main menu or from the pause menu in game
-Fixed a shitton of bugs

-Wallrunning preserves momentum and builds it
-Players can pass through suits now and when trying to jump on them the player just gets a slight boost upwards. (fixed players stuck climbing on enemies)
-Made new weapon selection menu (very much looking for feedback on this one- known bugs: colors only load after moving the mouse over the weapons, idk why)
-Added weapon details
-Moved the boosts button from the level info on the top right to the main menu
-Fixed Bonk The Bat not doing damage
-Made shard displacer louder
-Added restart mission on pause menu
-You can now add coins and xp using the button in debug mode inside the boosts shop
-Fixed not gauntlet timer not working sometimes fixed (2.5ju+ caused it)

-Made the lifesteal boost only work on Alt enemies (I plan on adding more enemies SOMEDAY so I would add it to them as well)

-Added a timer to kill the out of bounds widget (inside the widget too)
-Added some block at the top part of the cats easter egg so players wont turn there too much and have to drop below to find the cats (and wrote Bidge on it)
-Fixed the debug tool of reducing health

-Filled a hole (missing building) in the mini arena on the back
-one set of stairs in the mini arena is misaligned. moved it up a bit
-disabled teleporting while climbing (because you should use both hands when climbing and also fucked up the teleporting)

-Added more tiles to the "wrong turn tiles" in Destruction

DEMO UPDATE 02 IS OUT NOW

Change log for the demo!

-Wallrunning is now keeping momentum
-Jumping height slightly increased
-Climbing/mantling now skips the ledge grab
-Players can now keep sliding without press W to look around during the slide
-Enemies will not spawn near the player
-Kamikaze enemies need to wait 3 sec after spawning to "prime" themselves before they can explode
-Neon Stringler is slightly faster
-There's now a cooldown on hitting with melee (e.g you can't spam melee, it's a 0.5ish cooldown)
-Improved performance
-Fixed explosions not doing damage sometimes
-Now only "alt enemies" (currently just the alt zombies) give health when killed. This gives greater incentive for players to teleport.
-Wallrun speed increased
-When jumping during a climb the player will be pushed back off the wall instead of reseting the climb timer
-Suits' projectiles now do not pass through walls (it was only a visual glitch)
-You can now wallrun on the outer wall in the arena (weeeeee)
-Players now do damage when teleporting into enemies (and exploding barrels)
-Fixed XP not saving when pressing retry after death
-melee does damage based on your speed
-Made the Enemies, weapon switching and Neon Stringler parts in the tutorial clearer
-Reduced the Not Bad's bullet spread

-Added stairs in the Rooftops arena to prevent "blindspots" for the enemies
