🌙 The Lunar Union Festival Has Begun on Ikonei Island!
Come celebrate the Lunar Union Festival with us and collect exclusive items!
A Lunar Spirit will appear in the Hamlet during the Lunar Union event. It will give a quest that will reward you with Ribbits and beautiful rewards - such as decorations and clothing!
Red envelopes have been scattered around the island. Track them down to receive unique items that are available for a limited time only!
Multiple new items and recipes will be available in the different Shops during the Lunar Event.

P.S.: Some of you pointed out in the last announcement's comments section that we didn't mention anything about the current bugs! We apologize, and we assure you that we are working hard to eliminate all these annoying bugs: we want nothing less than a flippering fantastic experience for you all on the island.

Hello there, Castaways! 🏝️
As we approach the end of the year, it's time to reflect on the milestones we've achieved together and share some important updates.
🎉 Ikonei Island Launched on Steam and Epic
We're thrilled to announce the successful launch of Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure on November 9th, now available on both Steam and Epic platforms. We worked hard to implement the “Friends’ Pass”, which also functions as a demo! The “Friends’ Pass” allows a group of up to 4 players to play indefinitely on the host’s island, provided the host owns the game. We hope this fosters a sense of community and collaboration among players.
We are not done with Ikonei Island yet - On December 14th, Ikonei is celebrating “Lystide”! Players will be visited by “The Spirit of Lystide Past” - so make sure to check out the Hamlet!

🌱 Earthlock's Epic Store Free Week
Our first title, Earthlock, was originally released in 2018. We have seen a huge boost in activity since it was available for free on the Epic Store for a week in November. Over 5.9 million people claimed the game! We hope you enjoyed revisiting the world of Earthlock. Be sure to check out our comics on Steam and Epic if you want to delve further into the Earthlock lore.
🏜️ Earthlock 2 Updates
For those of you who haven't heard about our other games, we're developing Earthlock 2! We're very proud to look back and see how the Earthlock IP has grown over the last few years.
Our team made the choice to switch Earthlock 2 from Unity to Unreal Engine a couple of years ago. This has been a huge undertaking, and we have learned a lot about the engine, and the way we work as a studio. Another major challenge we have taken on is working on our first multiplayer game in Ikonei Island. We have grown as a studio tackling these challenges, but it has cost us more time than initially anticipated.
We are working on making this vision presentable to the community soon and will reveal the new launch date to you in the future. Wishlist Earthlock 2 to keep an eye out for the new features and more updates about the development process going forward!

Looking ahead! Celebrating the seasons on the Island
At last we can start to make even more additions to the island!
We are so exited that now we have those pesky bugs sorted we can at last get on with all the new elements we have planned for the game.
Starting off we are focusing on the ability to introduce new seasonal content. The first example being to make sure you all have the chance to join us and enjoy the island's own version of the holiday season.

You'll get to grow new shiny Lÿsroses and craft new festive items! Let the holiday spirit will arrive on your island with the Lÿstide content update coming on 14th December!
Next up we will have our 🏮Lunar New Year🏮 festivities coming on 8th February. It's too early to share the details of that, but we will give you more information as soon as we can,
Additionally, in the New Year we will be busy prepping the Xbox and Playstation builds - which we sadly had to postpone - but all of this is coming on 8th February 2024.
That's not all as we are also looking to build up a mission system which will allow us to start uploading new adventures for you to unlock on the Island - coming early Q2 2024
