Ocean Day Sale
WDC World Ocean Day Charity Sale
We are excited to announce that we are supporting WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation for World Ocean Day!
The WDC World Ocean Day Sale starts today and runs until 12th June, 10am PDT 2025, and you can save a fin-tastic 60% off Imagine Earth. We will also donate 20% of our net profits to WDC to support their conservation work.*
Who are WDC?
WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation are the leading global charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins. Their expert-led teams in the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia work across the whole spectrum of threats, from climate breakdown to accidental entanglements in fishing gear, pollution, captivity and hunting and whaling. They bring together, and work hand-in-hand with, businesses, philanthropists, scientists, NGOs, governments and grassroots communities to find solutions to the problems faced by whales and dolphins. Their mission is to reverse the global decline of whale and dolphin populations by creating safe seas for these majestic beings. And their vision is a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free.
What is ghost gear?
Ghost gear is fishing gear that has been lost or abandoned at sea. It’s a deadly menace to whales, dolphins and other marine life. When a whale or dolphin gets tangled in it, it can kill them in the most horrific way, by preventing them from getting to the surface to breathe. Or they can carry it for days, weeks or even months suffering a slow and painful death as it cuts into their skin, restricts their movement and hampers their ability to hunt and feed. But it’s difficult and expensive for fishers and other ocean users to dispose of gear they find at sea, or even to responsibly get rid of their own gear at the end of its life. Did you know that about 1/3 of marine litter found in European seas is discarded fishing gear? That's estimated to be over 11,000 tonnes entering the sea each year! It is a massive problem and so WDC are working on some innovative solutions.
How your support will help this year
By purchasing games from this year’s World Ocean Day sale, you will help WDC continue their global conservation work, as well as their ghost gear removal project, funding 10 missions for divers to remove lethal entanglement hazards to marine life (and scuba divers) from reefs, seabed and shipwrecks in UK seas. Whales and dolphins are awe-inspiring, intelligent beings. The ocean produces more oxygen and absorbs more carbon than all of Earth's forests combined, and whales help it flourish. Yet 300,000 whales die in fishing gear every year. If you want to read more about WDC, you can do so here: https://whales.org/ Keep up to date with all the awesome gaming activities WDC does by signing up to their mailing list here: https://games.whales.org/#newsletter And you can find many other amazing games in the sale here: https://bit.ly/WODSale25
Thank you for joining us and for supporting WDC!
*20% of our net revenue from this sale (after Steam platform fees) will support WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation. WDC is a UK registered charity (no. 1014705).

It took us a little longer to bring Imagine Earth to Switch, Playstation and Xbox last year, so we can now serving this great DLC on all platforms. We've continuously improved the main game, so if any of you played it when it was last released, you might be surprised at how it plays now. One more thing, we have another DLC in the pipeline, we'll keep going! But now to the fresh, brand new features...
Endless Game
You can choose to colonize whole new galaxies totally freely in the endless game mode. Inhabitable Planets will be discovered after some time and can be entered with a new landing permit..
Game Mode
In this campaign style game mode, we colonize entire galaxies and coordinate our progress on a central space station. The corporations compete to establish thriving colonies on several planets.
Colonization of whole Galaxies
The corporation that has earned the most victory points at the end of the pioneer phase is announced as main administrator of the galaxy.
The Space Station
You get a space station. It serves as our headquarters and central hub for your planetary colonies. It also enables interplanetary research and licensing of technology and allows you to unlock extensions for your city centers. Here you can also trade at a much better rate than in your colonies.
Orbital Lift
With this new high-tech construct you can move your resources and items quickly and free of charge between the colonies and your headquarters space station and thus also ensure exchange between the planets.

Dear Space Colony Managers, we’re happy to be on board for this year's Earth Appreciation Festival. Many devs discount their games and pledge a certain % of sales to the cause of protecting forests. In our case half of Imagine Earth sales go to the Cool Earth initiative between April 1 and 7 which is supporting indigenous people in preserving their forests.
New Update 1.19 Out Now
Canceling a building process or use of tools is again possible Had to replace Temporal Anti Aliasing (TAA) again in favour of Subpixel Morphological Anti Aliasing (SMAA), because it was producing very ugly artifacts on the planet surface. Fixed pixel artifacts in some panel backgrounds Rare resource graphics now show up reliably when blowing up mountains Fixed some graphic animations sometimes stuttering Using the “sell overproduction” button at a trader no longer automatically sells rare resources that you may want to use for crafting Fixed build ring not working correctly outside your territory Fixed some minor things in the Magni mission Fixed some minor things in the Tuto mission

German Voice Over
We experimented with automated translation for a complete german voice output for the campaign. Please give it a listening and tell us what you hear. Interesting how well that already works even though some sentences come across a little weird. For some it might surely be enjoyable. If not, please just switch back to the English voices.
DLC Release on April 8
Please stay tuned, our big Galaxy DLC is finally releasing in a week...
The update mainly brings us improvements in the image quality of Imagine Earth: Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) and HDR brightness levels are now available as we have upgraded the game to Unity 6 with this release! See and be amazed.
Medicine Production
The medical lab upgrade in the health district now produces medicine and the hospital upgrade applies it automatically when a pandemic is breaking out.
Disaster warnings improved
Warnings are now also displayed for areas controlled by allied natives.
More Fixes
Workshop crafting sounds are not so loud anymore.
Description of City Districts has been shortened and made up to 40% more concise.
A short time limit now prevents you from accidentally pressing away freshly popped story dialogs.
If you like our work please write a review. Thanks for your support! Jens & Martin
DLC Beta-Test
Ladies and Gentlemen,
welcome and thanks for coming over. Before we bring you the benefits of update 1.18 we want to invite you to join the beta test of our Galaxies DLC.
If you’re interested in giving the new game mode an exclusive test run please join the beta channel in our discord. There we can grant you access and discuss the balancing of new features and functions.
Simply go to discord and drop a message that you would like to join.
Update 1.18
Ring System Improvements
By default you get the build ring, by clicking the right mouse button again. That is supposed to give you direct access to inventory, functions and multi tools and all construction options without looking for a free field to open the build ring.
We also rebuilt the ring that appears outside of your build radius and made it uniformly appear the same way on all outer fields of the planet.
shows the option to directly build a city center and tells you directly how much more people you need for a new landing permit.
it also offers access to tools, functions and inventory
AI Improvements
So far the AI often ran itself into bankruptcy, e.g. by throwing out a lot of money on tech licenses, demolishing production relevant buildings that were recently built, to make room for other buildings, putting crafting efforts into items that are not urgently needed and quickly planting loads of trees. All of this and more has now been improved along with the algorithm to choose a city landing spot that fits well into the goals and values of the faction.
Planet Emission Sequestration
This comes as a definable value now. You can change how much emissions the planet's atmosphere and ecosystem can compensate and thereby how fast emissions will lead to a climate collapse.
More Construction Freedom
You can now build directly on fields with forests and rocks. They will be dismantled automatically. That saves a lot of extra clicks and time.
Relocate City Inhabitants
If you tear down districts the people in it will be relocated into other available homes. If there aren’t any empty houses the deconstruction process idles until you build new districts to provide room for your people.
List of Buildings
We optimized the panel with the list of buildings to show the info and values for a certain upgrade that you want to apply. That makes it clearer which benefits you’re actually unlocking by investing in your budget.
More Improvements
You will now be informed when another faction has taken over parts of your territory
We doubled the time an epidemic needs to spread because organizing 3 medicines can be quite devastating.
Better visual warning from dangers in the city panel
Bug fixes
Infinite Money Bug fixed - sorry! ;D
Tool overlays with fire at the temple
Presentation of the build selector in the water fixed
