Update
Summary
This update comes equipped with a greatly improved AI for singleplayer. There is a bigger range of difficulty to choose and AI player responds much quicker than before. We implemented a new and more diversified Opening Book that takes into account the frequency of real chess games moves in order to make the AI feel more natural to play against. Achievements have also been added along with a new option to overview previous game. Now both Singleplayer and Multiplayer modes have the option to play with increment per move. For new players, we have created a basic tutorial on Steam. Update also comes with several new facilities that are listed at the bottom.

Customizable time increment in Single Player
Standardized increment options on Multiplayer
Targeted squares are highlighted to reduce mistakes when moving pieces
A red ping alerts players when a piece cannot be moved (ie. not Player turn)
Non-VR opponent pieces are tracked during the move and are visible to the player
AI difficulty is labeled
Animations notify the player when their opponent time is up
Rematch option has been added
Pieces can now return to their squares through animation, though not all at once
Font is improved
Sound confirmation has been added upon on opponent’s selection of the “Ready” button
Changes to VR interface only
Calibration now includes rotation by pressing the Thumbstick or Trackpad
The second controller disappears while not in use
Pieces can be moved by using the “Grab” button

Pieces can be now smoothly moved from square to square
Moving pieces only involves selecting the squares beneath them instead of grabbing the pieces themselves
