The end is near. Thanks for your support.

It breaks my heart to write this, but I have to stop the support for Immune. I tried a lot of different ways to cover at least the server costs, but I failed.

I am sorry.

The servers will stay up for just a few more weeks before Immune goes out of business.

Thanks to everyone, that supported and played the game. It was an awesome experience nonetheless to develop this moonshot of a crazy game. :)

Player Owned Game Servers

Hello,

We want to give you a chance in hosting and administrating your own Linux Immune server, to open your region up for other Immune players. (Hello to all the new Brazil players from the last days!)

If you have a spare Linux Ubuntu server or vserver with at least 1 GB of RAM and if you are interested in hosting your own Immune server, please write to servers@immunegame.com with a short text about yourself.

We will give you the Immune Linux Server application and our official script to keep it running 24/7. Installing an Immune server only takes a few minutes.

Immune Decay Update

Today's update changed the decay time for the following buildings:
- Wooden Door: 4 days instead of 2
- Metal Door: 12 days instead of 6
- Stone Wall: 12 days instead of 6
- Bed: 12 days instead of 6
- Loot Box: 12 days instead of 6
- Tesla Coil: 12 days instead of 6

TLDR: Most buildings will now last twice as long as before.

Immune Update

What's new in Immune:
<*> Medkits now heal over a short period of time instead of instantly.
<*> Medkits now heal 30% of health instead of 25%.
<*> Fixed bug where passengers were able to repair the car while driving.
<*> Tried to fix a rare bug where you could duplicate items.

Immune 0.10.1b Server Optimization [UPDATED]

Today I tried to get rid of the server problems we experienced in the last 3 days. If you still run into problems playing on the official servers, please report the server here in the comments. Thanks!

I also fixed a bug, where you were able to repair your car while driving. ;)

PS: Sorry for the server restarts and hickups in the last 2 hours. I hope I don't have to mess with the servers anymore.

EDIT: January 17: The cause for the server problems has been found and fixed on the server side. Thanks for your help!

Server Problems

The last update causes the servers to fail sometimes.

If you connect to a server and you just see a NPC town with nights and days going by quite fast, then you connected to a dead server. You can report it here in the comments and I will restart it.

I will try to fix this by Monday (tomorrow).

Immune 0.10.0 Party Update

What's new in Immune:
<*>Added new party system (see communicator ingame). You can now share your tesla coils and doors with party members.
<*>You can now pick up items from containers with double click.
<*>Fixed "ghost car" bug, where you were able to repair an exploded car to make it reappear in a bugged state.
<*>Fixed bug where the "Rank Up" effect would spawn randomly near Hometown.

Immune 0.9.5 Repairing Update

What's new in Immune 0.9.5:
<*>Removed singleplayer option for now, because it didn't work under some circumstances
<*>You repair any building (= buildings of your friends!) by attacking it with a hammer now (instead of pressing E)
<*>Vehicles can now be repaired with a hammer, too
<*>Increased hammer spawns (in shops and boxes)
<*>Added positive health indicators for repairing/healing
<*>Made explosives drops more rare

Immune 0.9.4 Update

What's new in Immune 0.9.4:
<*>Opened the whole map (new areas! yay!)
<*>You can now mute players in the "players online" overview
<*>There is a new button for playing singleplayer
<*>New "Building Repaired" message
<*>New players will start with 100% karma as "spawn protection" now
<*>Improved tutorial
<*>Fixed bug where some achievements didn't unlock properly
<*>Fixed bug where some houses didn't have colliders in the walls

Please let me know if you run into any issues with the new singleplayer mode! Playing singleplayer basically runs a local server on your machine that you automatically connect to.

New players left Immune too fast, because they were slaughtered at the exit of noob island. That's why I decided to protect them by making them saints right from the start. This is a test and might change again in future versions.

Tell me what you think about the new area! It's super hard but I think it became quite cool. :)

Next Update

Hey guys,

At the moment I am working on a small contract work side project, which was too tempting to turn down. That's why Immune development is very slow at the moment.

This will probably change in the next few weeks, so I can finish Immune's map. Immune will also leave Early Access soon, which of course does NOT mean that we are finished developing it.

We just hope that we can reach more players with that. :)
