New update: Checkpoints!
We have received a lot of requests for checkpoints to be added to the game. We heard you and we are happy to announce that checkpoints have now been added in the Story Mode !
We hope this will help new players have an easier time in their first playthrough so that more players can reach the Competitive and Speedrun modes of the game.
More players = More competition = More fun !
These checkpoints will also be a useful tool for competitive players wanting to practice a specific trick in a level without having to restart from the beginning each time.
Overall the experience should be more enjoyable. :)

First week feedback and new features!
It has been one week since Impulsion has been released and we are very pleased with your feedback so far.
In this small time window, a new community has been created, tons of speedruns and new world records have been achieved and a lot of rage has been felt in the videos and streams of the game.
Thanks to your feedback a lot of improvements and new features have already been added to the game!
List of new features:
- A speedometer can now be displayed to show your speed
- A confirmation window has been added for the teleporters in the starting rooms to prevent any unintentional level loads
- A developer icon has been added next to the developer times so you can try to beat us!
- In the speedrun leaderboard, the number of retries needed during the run is now displayed
- You can now jump with the mousewheel
- You can now reset a speedrun from the pause menu
- In speedrun mode, the name and timer of the current level can now be displayed
- A new achievement for 10,000 deaths has been added ! We didn't expect you to like death so much
Bug fixes:
- Fixed collision bugs in many levels
- Added missing chinese voices
- Fixed an issue causing the timer to not display properly
- Fixed an issue causing SteamVR to start on its own
- Modified player and projectiles physics to be more precise

Impulsion will Test Players’ Minds and Reflexes on July 19 on Steam!
Play with Force Fields, Manipulate Time, and Climb the Leaderboards in this Mind-bending First-person Platformer from Driving Force Games
We are proud to announce that the first-person platformer Impulsion will be available on July 19 on PC via Steam. Winner of the Ping Awards 2017 and nominated for the Game Awards' Best Student Game, Impulsion is a mind-bending first-person platformer that will challenge players’ reflexes with fast-paced challenges and gameplay.
In Impulsion, players find themselves in station HMR-1, a mysterious station designed to calibrate robotic units such as yourself. Guided by the sassy artificial intelligence Archie, players will be charged with navigating through a wide array of devious challenges to prove their worth outside of the station.
Armed with two force field pistols, players can dual-wield their weapons, manipulating time, gravity, and speed to overcome obstacles and avoid traps in each environment. With sharp wits, fast reflexes, and imagination, players must show off their skills and find the right balance between bold moves and caution as they take on 25 levels of increasing difficulty.
