The previous mentioned coliseum theme, was changed to arena.
Join this new gameplay experience and feel like a real gladiator, where
players must prove tenacity, endurance and get skilfull as rounds bring stronger adversaries, to finally become the champion supreme.

Greetings lost warriors, I'd like to take this moment to let you know most of stuff have been developed as they were conceived in the original idea. Therefore, In Darkness is almost reaching the final state of development.

Gameplay

-New level Added: Ruins of Doom

Discover a dark secret in this forbidden ruined temple, but becareful misterious creatures lies in there.

-Hall of infinity was enabled and it's now available as a single mission. If players know the right path to complete this mission, it can be a quick and easy way to make gemstones and get free survival items.

-Added Abort Mission portal, players can go back to village if want to think it twice before completing it

General Update

in order to grant even more access to the advance levels; instead of starting a new game from scratch, the story was split in missions, so player can have access to any available level from the beginin. However, the equipment that players decide to get at mercenary shop, will have an impact on the gameplay difficulty.


Gameplay


-Added a spotlight above the character (now character has a radius of light)

-The story was split in missions and now it's an open story

-Changed some spawn locations in some levels

-Edited story in prision (now this is a mission and has a different objective, also character can go to prison with any equipment)

Some levels were reorganized in order to give more freedom to players.
However story mode remains the same:

-The story won't start from prison but from mercenary village

Gameplay



-New mission added: get rid of bandits, in this fun mission players must prevent the mob from looting. The reward amount will decrease for every stealing commited. So keep your eyes wide open in the darkness and don't let go your reward.

-Added mercenary fur saloon, where characters can be customized.

Dark army temple







General Update




All stores were restocked. Time to spend all your collected gemstones, customize your character, and become an elite mercenary. Mercenaries are interested only in the amount of money that can get from a situation.

Gameplay

-Stores were restocked with new armor sets, potions, assignments, etc.

-The character is customizable with armors, helmets, swords, shield, dual daggers, cannons, etc.

-Gemstones pickups hold random and greater amount

-Combat system value was re-balanced due to implementation of new weapons, armors, potion boosters, etc.

UI

-Readable books, scrolls, maps, etc were redesigned

So here it is the promised…”the secret village”, a hidden village in a peaceful forest with shops, and a hunter’s guild; a dream place where valiant warriors can trade, have drinks and equip with the best for the next challenging missions. The war begins with the arrival of a new hero.

-Excluded Challenge Mode, however the first missions of this challenge mode still keep available as a tutorial in the Challenge Mode now called: (Joining The Army) game mode. Also the resting missions from Challenge Mode will also be included in the Story Mode, but with a new balance of difficulty level.

-Updated objectives in Joining The Army game mode
-Added some rewards in all trials if players can clear them successfully
(some can be redeemed in the secret village)

The landing was rude but successful. However, tension can still feel in the atmosphere.
