After countless days of trying to fix the loading time at start-up, we are happy to announce we have made a breakthrough! The startup time (whitescreen) has been reduced by 90%, and will be more or less gone by the next update.
This has resulted in a few seconds longer loading time on the first game started.
Please be sure to report any bugs you notice as part of this, and we'll be on them right away.
Other tweaks:
- Starting the game in Easy mode(Lollipop), to reduce hairtearing for new players
- Increased the droprate of basic supplies on Easy mode (Lollipop)
- Deleted intro video at startup
- Tons of performance related improvements
- Living tunnels in cave no longer show above the character in certain positions
- The straight shooting coin spell now correctly loads from saves
- Additional minor fixes

Recent updates/fixes:
- Speed attribute scale less linear for a heavier boost first 2 levels
- A bit more chestrooms in Lollipop difficulty
- Str now correctly applies to the Pickaxe
- Harder to walk in walls at some points, but will continue working to fix that completely
- Fixed SFX not starting over when a couple of monsters attack rapidly
- Slowed down Mace rotation a bit for the skeleton
- Various small cosmetic changes

As of next monday (17th), In Your Realm will have it's pricetag reduced. So if you are thinking about purchasing this week, have that in mind and perhaps wait until then for a better deal.

Recent fixes/updates and additions:
New features:
- Autoadjust for screenresolution ratio (still setting screen to 1024/768 before start works best of course)

- Characteristics gained in run is now available for possible rewards

- Made Lollipop difficulty a bit easier by slightly increasing droprates for hearts and gold.
- Can no longer press F in characterwindow by mistake to trigger a spell.
- Now correctly gains the speedbuff between rooms after killing the Treasure worm or the Phoenix.
- SFX for clubs and some other weapons no longer trigger when pressing opposite direction to the characters direction.
- The walking Necromancer now aims correctly on the main character with his ranged spell. Before the vector would sometimes miss a stationary target.

Small update with fixes and additions including:
- More intuitive controls in menu (Enter for selection added, Alt+Enter for full screen).
- Bugfix that would let the player level up when dying, causing a crash.
- Increase in monologue variety and correcting some typo's.
- Shadowing for some monsters that were missing it.
- Increase cooldown of hit for the Iceglider. Made for some unfair situations.
- Additional fixes
