A very limited number of Hob's Barrow soundtrack cassette tapes are back in stock via The Machine. The Demon.'s Bandcamp page! It seems he found some copies down the back of his couch just in time for Christmas.
These will sell out very quickly and I'm pretty sure there won't be any more after this, so if you are interested please do take a look!

With great pleasure we can belatedly announce that Samantha Béart (Thomasina Bateman) was longlisted for this year's BAFTA Games Awards in the Performer in a Leading Role category: one of the top 10 performances as voted by BAFTA members in 2023!
BAFTA recently announced that going forward from 2024, longlisted nominees will be published online. In the past, longlisted nominees were sworn to secrecy unless they made the final shortlist (top 6 performances). This was very hard to keep quiet! BAFTA has now given us special permission to publicly share Samantha's longlist nomination - something we are very proud of! I think we can all agree Samantha truly brought Thomasina to life - an incredible performance!

Patch v1.05
If you want to switch to 3.6 version of AGS (there is no need to do so, but if you're experiencing some issues with input, it will help) for you can do so by following the instructions: 1) Right click The Excavation of Hobs Barrow, 2) Properties 3) Betas 4) typing in that text input box "testformactest" WITHOUT QUOTES, hitting check code 5) Hitting the blue button that will appear (i believe it will write "Opt into mactest") 6) The game will begin downloading files and once that's done, you'll have the same but hopefully the issue will be resolved!
List of fixes: -Fixed some texts regarding a poem. -Fixed the darkness level on some objects so that they are more visible. -Fixed clarity of click to advance dialogue option.

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow is STEAMDECK Verified!
On the 28th of September, The Excavation of Hob's Barrow will be available on Steam!!! Windows. Linux, MacOS and Steamdeck builds will be available for all our players, and cross-platform saves. This basically translates to you can play on any of these platforms and continue your progress no matter the platform you're playing!
The Excavation of Hob's Barrow has been in production for three years, and it's been such an incredibly rewarding and difficult journey for us! We cannot thank you enough for your support - we couldn't have done it without you!
We can't wait for you to finally be able to play the game!

After 3 years of hard work, we are delighted to announce that The Excavation of Hob's Barrow will be coming to Steam on September 28th! It's been such a journey for us, thank you for your support along the way - we couldn't have done it without you!

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow is being published by Wadjet Eye Games!
We are thrilled to finally be able to announce this - our folk horror adventure THE EXCAVATION OF HOB'S BARROW is being published by Wadjet Eye Games! It has been truly an honour and a privilege to work with such a legendary publisher, one who counts Unavowed, Primordia, Technobabylon, Gemini Rue and Blackwell series among their catalogue of classics!
Wait, wasn't this game called INCANTAMENTUM? Yes, it was. After discussions with various people who know what they are talking about, the consensus was that INCANTAMENTUM is a bit hard to remember/spell/pronounce for some folk. Interestingly, The Excavation of Hob's Barrow was our original working title for the game, so it was easy for us to make the switch! Rest assured nothing else about the game has changed in any way.
Working with Wadjet Eye Games means we've been able to expand and polish the game well beyond our initial hopes. The game now has full voice acting from a cast of great professional actors, and will also be coming to Mac and Linux!
You might notice the game is still referred to as INCANTAMENTUM on certain areas of Steam, with the old promo images - these might take a few days to clear away.
The game will be released later this year.
