After brainstorming and exploring for some time, we are presenting Desires Flowing DLC to you! We are creating this DLC not just to provide a new class option, but a new Follower mechanics, to explore more possibilities of deckbuilding gameplay.
Desires Flowing includes 3 Puppeteer characters, 100+ new class, a new Follower mechanics with over 30 Follower options, as well as new events, monsters and adventure stories. This stand-alone gameplay DLC is a bolder attempt from us to create a new class experience.

A New Chapter of the Mekaa Adventurer
This DLC is rooted deep in the original lore, and you can piece together the story through the adventure mode gameplay. After the leader of Puppeteer Naga’s mysterious disappearance, you embark on a journey to find her, only to realize she might be guiding you toward the dark mist’s end...
Base Game V2.0 Changes
We have also made changes and fixes to the base game to ensure a smoother experience!
Fixed the achievement "By All Odds". Players who meet the requirement will automatically gain the achievement
Fixed the issue where reward coins can't transfer to the shop in Dragon Abyss mode
Fixed the issue where the game gets stuck at Defeat screen in Dragon Abyss mode
Fixed the card count issue of talent "Full Charge"
Fixed the "Aura of Strenghth" duration issue within the Kemp enemy group
Fixed the enemy intent delayed display bug (some enemy intents were displaying wrong number)
Fixed the healing bug of card "Dust Regeneration"
Fixed potential bugs related to "remove X cards of Y" in event options
Fixed bugs that blocked Double Strike
Fixed the target bug of card "Painkiller" and now it will target all enemies
Fixed the bug where talent "Phantom" can't unlock library
Fixed the healing hp of talent "Will to Survive" which were wrong under certain circumstances
Fixed the rarity of the talent "Soar"

Testing of the new DLC is officially LIVE! We would love to give the Indies' Lies community a taste of the new [Puppeteer] class where you recruit [Followers] to fight for you. We are eager for your feedback and we hope you enjoy the new mechanics! This test will last 72 hours and will conclude at 7PM Pacific time August 18.

10+ new enemies
Access to all features of the new Follower mechanics where you recruit your Followers & groom your team - Select your followers from 30+ options, upgrade them and have them fight by your side. Every puppet has it specific intention in each turn. Here are a few new mechanics in the Follower gameplay
Trigger: Cards with the keyword Trigger can make your puppets execute their intentions additionally within a turn.
Brand: Your followers will prioritize attacking the enemies with the most brands.
Corrosion: Corrosion will cause damage to the target ignoring it’s armor. There's also "Worship" to offset Corrosion damage.
Magic Copper Power: Cards with the keyword Magic Copper Power can endow your followers a powerful and dangerous only-one-turn effect.

We would love to give the Indies' Lies community a taste of the new [Puppeteer] class where you recruit [Followers] to fight for you. We are eager for your feedback and we hope you enjoy the new mechanics! "Desires Flowing" is the first stand-alone gameplay chapter in the "Indies' Lies" series, and we wish to explore the possiblities of deckbuilding with all of you!
How to join: A test branch will be created for the base game, so everyone with Indies' Lies in Steam library will be able to access the DLC testing content

She was a flower, gentle and fair, No greenhouse sheltered her from storms she had to bear. A tragedy took her family away, Her fiancé too, met a grim end that day.
She sought revenge with a dagger so keen, But found a truth crueler than she'd ever seen. Her hatred burned, her vengeance gained, Yet this only brought her more pain.
Her fiancé was the culprit, a bitter truth found. Her lover and worst foe, already in the ground, “The dead cannot speak, but if I bring him back to life—” By Indies' name, she will make it right.
In the greenhouse, thorns started to appear, She became a blood rose, spreading fear. “Return to me, all that you owe—” “Love, truth, and death,” her wishes are told.

He sought to fulfill his kin's desire— Grandfather yearned for life eternal, as death drew near. His colleagues experimented only with the lifeless; Yet his scalpel knew no boundaries.
His achievements were grand, his methods bold— His peers, dwarfed, for they stuck to routines ever so old. They ousted the young genius, sent him away with scorn, They are content just abiding to the norms.
In his darkest hour, Indies calmly approached, Eyes keen as torches, Indies won't have talent be encroached. "I can grant your grandfather eternal life," It claimed— "Join me, your research shall the world acclaim."
"The Dark Doctor," he chuckled, finding charm in the name, "I tread in shadows, yet my heart beats for healing's gain." "Why resent those who perish in my hand?" he wondered, "Deny me the darkness, and I cannot save the withered."

Once the most devout servant of the old God, Singing its praises, song after song. She dreamed of becoming a bishop, Until a letter revealed her secret.
"Tainted!" She was hurt by the people's words, but not as much as the betrayal of her loved ones. The ignorant see infection as disease, but those scars, tell the tales of her history.
In this moment of darkness Indies takes her hand, "Those abandoned by the foolish old God, are my children. I endow you with magic copper to heal your wounds And give you wisdom so that you see the truth."
"Call me the nun," She looks up and says, "Instead of my scars, this name will remind me Of hat sort of foolish lies I believed."

Desires Flowing has a unique stand-alone gameplay, where the new class Puppeteers control followers and dead spirits to fight for them. Expanding from the core gameplay of roguelike deckbuilding, players need to choose and manage a team of followers that match their cards, so as to maximize the effects of both the follower abilities and the deck build.
As the 2nd DLC, Desires Flowing is a bolder attempt that reveals the dark side of Mekaa. We hope that it gives you a whole new experience different from the existing content.

The Holy Copper Monastery is an emerging religious sect that worships the new god Indies.
The notorious assassination organization Bloody Angels, which once had caused havoc in Mekaa, vanished overnight. However, when they were rediscovered hiding in the dark forest at the border between Riverpari and the Grayrock, the world found that those bloodthirsty killers had all transformed into devout religious believers.
They recognized the potential of magic copper, however sniffed at the rumbling machinery and the tide of steel. They believed that magic copper is not raw material for industry but a panacea for mankind.
The mysterious leader of the sect, Naga, never revealed her true face.
Under her mask, she preached, spread the gospel, and cured diseases for the crowd. She rejected payment, asking only them to remember her words: "Miracles’ will follow… if you are willing to pay a price of faith."
Countless believers prostrated themselves under her tiara, yearning for even a word of her direct teachings. Although few were honored enough to enjoy such privilege. It's said that those most favored by her could not only hear the secret gospel…… but also receive her direct instruction of the mysterious “Puppetry”!
There were three of the most outstanding believers in the monastery.
The devout "Nun", who saved countless lives and was said to know every letter in the gospel; "Dark Doctor", the monastery’s surgeon, highly professional in human anatomy; "Blood Rose", charming yet weird, who would bring doom upon anyone who dared utter her real name.
Until one day, Naga mysteriously vanished.
so was the monastery’s holy relic—a rare piece of magic copper enshrined in the main hall. As one of the outstanding believers, you’ll take on a journey to find Naga and the relic. You are not just a believer of Indies, but also a Puppeteer personally selected and trained by Naga herself.
