The new version (released 9th February 2015) features Catalysts. Catalysts are special powers which can quickly turn the tide of battle.
Due to a new weather system implementation which is taking a bit longer than expected, the maps are not included in the update, however we will be releasing 3 maps as compensation in the next update next Tuesday (17th February 2015).
Version 1.01 released
Version 1.01 has just been released as a quick-fix patch. Updates include sound master volume control, mouse wrapping, Horde Call and a bigger selection range for Infected.
2 new Skirmish maps and Catalysts are coming with next version (1.02) next Monday (February 9th).
Virus 14 released as Early Access
Virus 14 has officially been released as Early Access! We are looking forward to seeing you lead your own zombie invasion and hope you have as much fun playing as we are having making it.

Bundle and Desura players
Steam CD Keys will be provided free of charge to Bundle and Desura players (purchased before January 29th 2015). If you purchased Virus 14 (Conniption) from Desura or a bundle package please send an email to support@farrugiasoft.com with an attached receipt of your purchase and we will reply with a Steam CD Key.
Virus 14 coming soon as Early Access
The initial version of Virus 14 will be released as Early Access next Thursday (January 29th 2015) at 10:00 PST (18:00 GMT).
The current version contains a single Skirmish Map and the minimal gameplay mechanics necessary for the gameplay.
The next version (1.01) is scheduled for February 9th 2015.
