New Update! Weekly Challenges and Global Leaderboard
Hi World Dominators,
We are proud to announce our latest update for Infectonator 3: Apocalypse. Let me present to you our latest features:
Weekly Challenge Mode - A set of random modifiers will be presented every week, you can play it regardless whether you’ve unlocked it or not. Also, you can retry the challenge without any limitation. Your highest score will be stored in the weekly leaderboard. The player with the highest score will be crowned “Player of The Week” and featured in the game’s main screen.
Global STEAM Leaderboard - Your highest scores will now be stored in the game’s Global Leaderboard. Compete with players from all around the world and become the best world conqueror! Also, you can now compare your scores with your friends.
Additionally, the game is now available in Polish, Thai, and Turkish!

Hot Fix 1.3.2.2
Hi World Dominators,
We've just uploaded a hotfix patch version 1.3.2.2 to resolve issues related to corrupted save game and game freezes with day counter and DNA showing 123.
If your game version in the main menu doesn't show ver 1.3.2.2, you can force Steam to update the game by selecting "Verify Integrity of Game Files" in the game's properties in your Steam library.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
Big Update 1.3.1! Leaderboard, Modifiers & Casual Mode

We are happy to announce our first BIG update for Infectonator 3: Apocalypse!
Here’s a list of the new things added with this update:
Casual Mode - A new game modifier for fans of the classic Infectonator. No cure and less panic. Enjoy this relaxing and therapeutic mode where you can destroy the world casually on your spare time. No modifier token is required to activate this mode.
Leaderboard System - You will be able to track your progress and beat your own high score! Post your score online and compete with EVERYONE to be the best in spreading infections and finishing fastest! And to make things fair, modifiers will affect your score positively or negatively.
Surrender Kill-Switch - Your doomsday plan fails mid game? Just flip the kill switch to cancel the apocalypse! You can quickly end your run and convert your score into exp points, then start a new apocalypse.
Auto-Open Body Bags - Added a toggle button to automatically open body bags
Bug fixes
Also, we are adding new modifiers for you to play with:
Randomized Zombie Loadout - Players are given free zombies on every attack, but Loadout are randomized every day.
Extra Zombie Slot – Adds an extra zombie loadout slot.
Perfectionist Mode – You must get all humans in every attack, fail to do so 3 times and you’ll lose the game.
20/20 Vision – All humans have great eyesight. Activating this modifier will increases human view distance.
Bootleg Support Items – All support items are weaker.
Region Lockdown - Regions go into Lockdown after an attack for several days.
Evacuation Protocol – Stages have a time limit before it automatically ends.

Up Coming Update 1.2.6 and BETA Build Access
Hi World Dominators!
We are currently working on a new update for Infectonator 3: Apocalypse and we are opening access to the BETA build so that you can try these new features that are still in development, NOW! Please help us test these updates before we roll it out to the masses, we want to hear your feedback and suggestions so that we can make the game better.
To try the BETA build, open Infectonator 3: Apocalypse's game properties, go to the BETA tab, and select "public-testing" branch from the drop-down menu.

Fixing Disco Zombie behavior, when he is dancing, player can now spawn items/zombies without cooldown
We are also working on other new features. Here is the list of things we are working on right now:

Harder Difficulty Modifiers - For you who craves tougher challenges, we have something for you too! We are adding several new game modifiers that will make your doomsday planning a lot tougher than it should. You can make your life harder (if you wish) by toggling these modifiers. Scroll down for more details on the new modifiers.
Leaderboard System - You will be able to track your progress and beat your own high score! Post your score online and compete with EVERYONE to be the best in spreading infections and finishing fastest! And to make things fair, modifiers will affect your score positively or negatively.
Setting your own difficulty has been one of the most requested features. However, we noticed that it's not just the value of the variables (more health, lower damage, etc) that made the game harder or easier, but also how the player's play (your pacing and play style). To address this, we are adding new new-game modifiers so that you can adjust your own difficulty setting in a more meaningful way (not just changing variables).
We have both, positive and negative modifiers that will make the game harder or easier or more interesting. You'll be able to experiment with various modifiers combinations.

More Zombie Capacity - you can carry more zombies

As for those wishing for more challenges we'll be adding these:
Strike Out - Fail three times and you are out!
Random Zombie Loadout - With this modifier, you'll have a randomized zombie loadout every time you attack a city.
City Quarantine Lockdown - Attacked cities will be placed under quarantine lockdown for a few days. You can no longer attack a city twice in a row.

New Update and Trading Cards are Now Available!
Hi everyone,
We just rolled out a new update for the game. Here is the changelog for the 1.2.4 patch:
Changed world map city colors for destroyed cities
Reduce intro video resolution to reduce lagging
Add sound effect to flash bang and airstrike
Add boss icons on the world map tho show which bosses are ready to be fought
We also wanted to take a quick moment to let you know that trading cards are now available!

Update - Difficulty Balancing & Modifiers Tweak
Hi, World Dominators!
Thank you for being patient with us. We have been working hard to make Infectonator 3: Apocalypse better based on your feedback and suggestions. So, wait no longer! We are rolling out a new update, version 1.2.2, yay! Here are the changes:
Adjusted the exp requirement to level up and unlock modifier tokens
Tokens are now used to “equip” modifiers instead of unlocking them, you will get them back when the modifier is unequipped. This will allow players to experiment with modifier combinations more easily.
Adjusted the damage of support items
Adjusted the damage of some human weapons, especially soldiers and ZIT trooper attacks
Increased the amount of mutation chance gained per level of upgrade
You will receive the correct amount of zombies at the start of the game if tutorial is disabled
Labs on death door will be slowed down significantly

Announcement - Difficulty Balancing Coming Soon
Hi there World Dominators!
I'm Kris, the creator of the Infectonator series. Thank you for playing the game and following the series.
As you may have seen from the Steam Reviews, people are having issues with the game's difficulty curve. I tried my best to keep the soul of the original Infectonator intact while also offering something new to the series. So that old fans and new players can find interesting experiences in this new game. Sadly it seems I might have missed the mark for a lot of people, especially in the difficulty curve. I deeply apologize for that.
We acknowledge all your frustrations with the game's difficulty curve. Please be patient with us as we are currently working on rebalancing the game to make it a better playing experience. I hope you can give us another chance to win your heart again.
