Let's get down to the details on this Weekend Event:
Double GD [AC] All the GD earned in Arcade will be doubled during the weekend.
Release of FN FAL [SV] The FN FAL Semi Automatic Rifle, will be released and will spawn at helicopter crashes.
AR Only [BR] Now that Tropico is a fair area for an honest gunfight, we will be doing an AR Only event on it. No melees, no pistols, no SMG, no Snipers.
Warehouse Double Rep [PVP] We are bringing back Warehouse for the weekend with Double Reputation! All reputation earned in it will be doubled.
MARKETPLACE SALE! This week we are doing a sale on the Skin recipes and Skinboxes! Note: This sale is a weekly one so it has already started before the weekend event and does not have the same start-end times as the weekend event.

New Tropico Montage Contest
Hello everyone,
With the latest launch of the reworked Tropico map, we are going to open a contest on it!
We would like to see your best montages on the new version of Tropico, with a chance of winning special prizes!
RULES
All Montages should be recorded in the new version of Tropico, so no using older clips!
The videos must be at least 60 seconds long, with no maximum limit!
Videos must be recorded at at least 720p.
Videos cannot contain Copyrighted materials!
It does not have to be necessarily a KILLS montage. It can be a montage of funny or interesting moments as well!
Videos will be chosen by content quality, creativity and video quality, among other characteristics.
HOW TO POST
You can post these videos in our DISCORD SERVER, on the channel #Tropico-Contest found under the category "Media"
Videos posted must be links to a public video on any public platform (preferably Youtube).
PRIZES
There will be a total of 3 prizes for the best videos:
3rd best video will receive 4000 GC
2nd best video will receive 6000 GC
Best video overall will receive 10000 GC
We will be accepting videos for 7 days, then the channel will be closed. After 2 more days, the winners will be announced!

Patch 4.9
GENERAL CHANGES
GENERAL FIXES & CHANGES:
Clan invites now show you who invited you to the clan.
Fixed a bug causing vehicles to not respawn.
Added Trunk Storage to vehicles. They will have a similar system to the Personal Locker, but on wheels! Each vehicle has a different amount of slots and no weight restrictions.
Fixed a bug that would allow players to shoot their Shotguns inside safezones (it still did no damage to other players).
Fixed a bug that causes the player to get stuck on random objects forcing the player to jump.
Fixed a building with some windows you could walk through from the inside.
Removed 4th of July Missions and Content.
Fixed an issue with the Airport Towers where you would be able to shoot through the walls.
Zombie Damage from Flashlight has been increased.
Fixed the missing model from the Amphetamine vaccine.
M40A1 Remington 700 can now hold 5 bullets.
SERVER CHANNELS REWORK:
In order to better categorize and organize all our game modes with their subtypes (such as PVP, or Warmup in Arcade) we have restructured the internal layout. This will make future game mode or sub-game mode updates more reliable and faster to develop. Players should not notice any difference on how the server browsing works.
SURVIVAL
GENERAL CHANGES
Statistics previously not counted will now count towards the Top 1-10 Skins.
When selecting Survival, you will not be prompted with the same screen as in Arcade, where you can choose which kind of servers you'd like to view. They will be limited to Official, Private and Premium Servers.
Changed the weight of the Armor Plates from 3.0kg to 1.5kg.
Added more collision walls around the Airport.
BATTLE ROYALE
REWORK
We are doing some changes to the Battle Royale mode and its systems. Here are a few things we will be changing:
Battle Royale Server code has been rewritten Note from the developer: The Battle Royale gamemode was created back in 2016, designed as a mini gamemode in mind. This made it extremely hard to work on, add features or fix bugs. It has now been recoded as a real gamemode, giving us more control over any of it's features and/or optimizations.
Reworked Radiation System: The Radiation system has been reworked in order to become more dynamic and smarter. It will start at a random area on the map, then will decrease within it. However, it will not be reduced exactly in the center. It will be randomly placed inside the new area. That will prevent players from being able to know exactly where the center will be when the match starts.
Changed some UI elements and sounds: To reflect the changes with the radiation, the UI elements that display radiation on the minimaps and some sounds have been adjusted to match the new system.
GENERAL FIXES & CHANGES
Statistics previously not counted will now count towards the Top 1-10 Skins, including previous. Fixed a bug playing the airdrop sound in Battle Royale when a airdrop is opened by a player.
MAPS
TROPICO (REWORK)
In addition to the major changes to the whole BR System, the Tropico map has gone through a rework as well.
Loot and loot placement has been improved.
Made changes to the level design to make it easier to survive and protect yourself with hills and buildings.
COMPETITIVE
Warmup queue
Added a Warmup Server for players waiting for a competitive match.
They work similar to the Battle Royale queue system.

Some of you guys maybe remember, but we have had Twitch drops constantly dropping on Infestation streams. That is not possible anymore since Twitch decided to rework their drop system.
Now we figured something out and doing a test run for 1 month on Fredaikis partner streams.
This event has basically 2 objectives and you have 2 weeks for each one. Keep in mind, you will lose the process after 2 weeks.

But the rest is the same as before. You link your Twitch with the game account and earn drops while watching Twitch streams.
