Infested Fortress

New Update
The latest update brings the following changes:

  • Amulets have been added. A new building, the jeweler can be built to craft amulets which provide powerful boni.
  • Easy difficulty is now much easier: the rate at which raiders arrive or monsters are discovered is greatly reduced giving the player more room for mistakes.
  •  More bug fixes.

New Hero: Human Ranger
We are preparing for a closed beta. Our focus is on ironing out bugs but we also keep adding new content.

The Human Ranger



A new hero, the Ranger, is now available. She is a ranged character but she also brings a few new unique mechanics to the table.

Traps


Traps can be placed on the floor and will activate after a certain activation time. Any enemies stepping into their AoE will trigger them on all foes within range.

Companions/Summons


The ranger can also summon companions that will help her in battle, namely a tanky bear, a dire wolf that provides nice boosts and an eagle that can move around the battlefield freely and blind enemies with its claws.

New Hero: Dwarven Champion
We are constantly working on new features, balance changes and bug fixes. A new hero, the Dwarf Champion, is now available. He is a heavily armored warrior who faces the enemies with warhammer and shield.

New craftable items are also available, armor, weapons, especially war hammers and mauls.

A new room, the Hospital can heal battered heroes between conflicts so that they are fully fit for the next battle.

Many new opponents and monsters have been added to the full game like Treants, Fairies, Demons and many more. There are also many things that have been removed, namely nasty bugs. We are still fighting some battles, mainly with balance, both in terms of food production and the difficulty of the battles.

The Gnome Fire Mage is the latest hero added to Infested Fortress. As the name implies, he has specialized in fire magic. Time for a little bit of pyromania.

Steam Next Fest starts soon and we have released the demo of Infested Fortress in time. Try it out right now!

The demo includes the beginning of the game and gives a good impression about the full scope. We will go into Early Access after Steam Next Fest, where much more content will be available.
