InfinitasDM has now been updated to v1.8.0, That means that new and updated features have arrived!
They've taken quite a bit longer than I had hoped for, but that extra wait time comes with some good news, this update ballooned in size from two minor changes to 6 new and/or upgraded features!
The Upgrades:
Close Token Menu button added - You can now close the Token Menu with no other menu actions taken
Maps now remember the last viewed Pan / Zoom location - It is now much easier to pick up where you left off when returning to a map
Drawing tools are no longer automatically disabled when opening the DM Drawer - No more annoying re-selecting the previously active drawing tool when changing pencil color or size
A red border has been added to the Map View when editing Fog of War is active - It is now much more visually obvious when drawing on the Fog of War layer instead of the normal drawing layers
Custom Stamps - Stamps can now be expanded - see the updated Instruction Manual for more details (linked from the main menu of the app, or downloadable from infinitasdm.com)
Custom Tokens - Tokens can now be expanded - see the updated instruction manual for more details
New FREE DLC Coming
To celebrate these changes, I'll also be adding some FREE DLC in the form of new Token sets! These will be up on Steam soon, as well as available from store.atomswitch.com .
Reviews
With over 1,400 users, it breaks my heart to see 10 negative reviews dragging IDM's rating down to "Mostly Negative," especially when the 10 positive reviews (it would seem reviews from our Kickstarter backers aren't counted in the average) have an average of 27.42 hours logged, vs an average of 2.2 hours logged for all negative reviews.
I read each and every review and do my best to resolve any issues that come up (be that here, or to support@infinitasdm.com or to forums.atomswitch.com ). If there aren't any more of you that feel like you can recommend this app, then I understand, but if you enjoy IDM leaving a review reflecting that has a real, tangible positive effect on the app and my ability to keep expanding it.
I'll be sure to make another update once the free Token Expansion DLC is up. Until then, I hope you enjoy these updates!

New IDM Features Coming + Patreon To Help Fund Development
After receiving multiple requests from IDM Kickstarter backers, I have finally launched a Patreon account to help fund the continued development of InfinitasDM.
As my original programmer is no longer able to dedicate the time needed to continue developing InfinitasDM, I needed to find a new one to pick up the torch. It took a little longer than expected to find the right one, but a replacement has been found! With that settled, I am finally able to bring the Atom Switch IDM Patreon to life.
The long and short of it though, is that this support will go directly to funding new IDM features and content with an emphasis on bringing all of the features I had wanted to add, but was forced to cut, to meet the budget of the original Kickstarter's funding amount and deadline.
One very important thing to note - Patreon supporters will get to vote on which new features / changes get implemented once the appropriate funding goals are met.
New Features Coming
To get things started, I've decided to dip into my IDM@GenCon 2017 funds to pay for two new InfinitasDM features.
A more obvious graphic notification to indicate when editing Fog of War
It can be easy to forget whether or not you are editing the Fog of War when running a campaign. Currently, the Fog of War icon changes from a bright red icon to a very dark red one. This will be updated to also add a red frame around the boundaries of the screen that will make it a lot more obvious when you're drawing on the Fog layer.
The ability to load additional Stamps from an app-specific stamp location
This will allow me to expand on the stamps that are currently available in the app, as well as potentially allow users to add their own stamps. There have been a lot of requests for different stamps (door icons, tree and mountain icons for overworld maps, etc) so it would be great to be able to add them to those already found in the app.
Down the line I'd also like to add the ability to scale stamps that have been placed onto the map, but that will have to be added later on.
It's a small start, but it will be fantastic to get new features coming into the app again. It will only get more difficult to find time to work on the app moving forward, but this will be a big step toward making that easier and financially possible once again.

InfinitasDM DLC Bundle Now Available
Good news for anyone looking to pick up the two pre-made campaign DLCs for InfinitasDM - You can now get them (as well as InfinitasDM itself if you've been holding off on it) all in one package at a 20% discount!
For those of you who already own one or more of the items in the bundle, you can still get the remaining items at the bundle's discount price when you "complete the set!"
InfinitasDM developer Atom Switch has just launched a new Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of more InfinitasDM content.
This new content, titled the Adventurer's Tome: Farador's Folly is an open world campaign similar to the Adventurer's Kit. Unlike the Kit however, this Tome will encompass an entire multi-region world.
With multiple sub-quests and one primary quest line per region, each region's primary quest will also tie together into a single overarching story. In addition to allowing me to go full-time with Atom Switch and IDM development, the campaign also has the potential to bring extra features to InfinitasDM!
With stretch goals including up to 4 new small scale features, 2 medium scale features, and 1 large scale feature there is great potential for expanding on the abilities of IDM.
Get the full details from the campaign's page here:
DLC is now back up and operational again for InfinitasDM.
You may need to restart the Steam Client and run IDM to trigger the file download, but once you have the files they will show up the next time you open the app.
If anyone is still having problems or are experiencing any strange glitches or other issues let me know here, in the Discussions forums, or on our own forums at https://forums.atomswitch.com .
Thank you to everyone for your diligence in reporting the issue and your patience in getting the issue resolved!
Cloud Saves & DLC Issues
Cloud Saves
Cloud Saves have now been activated for InfinitasDM campaign saves. Your save files will now be available across any computer you can access your account through the Steam client on.
As with any new feature, if you encounter any problems with the cloud saves let us know on the discussion boards or contact me directly and we'll sort it out together.
DLC Issues
It has come to my attention that Steam is having trouble downloading DLC files after purchase. Everything looks fine on the back-end, but I tested and confirmed that I am also not getting the files correctly.
Strangely, it was working fine earlier last month, so I'm not sure what could have changed. I have contacted Valve for support, so I'll get the the bottom of this issue as soon as possible.
If I can't get a solution together before long, I may have to temporarily disable the DLC for purchase. In that event, I will post an update letting you know and will ask that those who have purchased the DLC and are still having issues accessing it to contact me directly at contact@atomswitch.com for a work-around.
Thanks for your patience as we figure out this problem!
InfinitasDM Updates
InfinitasDM has been updated, and with it come some heavily requested changes.
New in 1.6.0:
Eraser / Pencil Tools Refactored. Massive performance increases and much more effective eraser use.
An instruction manual link has been added to app's main menu
An 'X' close button has been added to the Map Link menu to allow exiting the dialog without placing a Map Link
Pencil tools no longer accidentally draw when interacting with UI
Drawing Tools Refactored
The big change here is a complete overhaul to the way the pencil and eraser tools work. Because of this refactor, the tools have seen a major performance increase. This means no more lag after long or fast pencil strokes, which means no more crashes when laying down lots of fast or large pencil lines!
Additionally, the eraser is now more accurate and is no longer buggy when erasing overlapping lines. It's still a vector based tool (not a raster based drawing tool, like Photoshop or Paint), but the tool is now much more reliable and easier to use.
Other Changes
Two of the most heavily requested changes that made it into this build update are the Instruction Manual link directly from the app (added to the Main Menu), and the ability to cancel out of the Map Link dialog without placing a link.
It's been great to watch the "average use time" numbers grow as you all dig into the app and run your campaigns. It would be awesome to hear about some of your campaign stories on the discussions page!
Campaign DLC Now Available + Recent Updates
Campaign DLC is now available for InfinitasDM!
The first of two campaigns created during the InfinitasDM Kickstarter is now available on Steam.
The Adventurer's Kit
The Adventurer's Kit is an open world, game-generic campaign file that consists of a complete town, surrounding forest area, and complete dungeon. With multiple NPCs, a web of interconnecting Quests, and over 20 different mapped out locations your players can explore and approach each quest from multiple directions, using smaller quests to highlight and lead to the main quest line.
Also included are a print ready, poster-sized “Guide To Telam Village” map image and 22 page quest guide PDF to use while GM/DM'ing the campaign.
Note: You will need to update the app to the latest version in order to use this DLC.
App Updates
Several updates have gone up since launch, so here are some notes on the major changes, fixes, and updates that have been included with them.
New in 1.4.0 Token Names Changes:
Token Names now render on the Player's View
Token Names now properly render beneath Fog of War
Token Names have been reduced in size and moved higher up on the Token to conserve space for tokens placed closely together
Tokens have been reduced in size to better match the default grid size
Status Tokens now stack a bit lower beneath Character tokens and are now more visible
Allow Landscape viewed both "right side up" and "upside down" for Tablet PCs and mobile platforms
New in 1.2.0 Refinements to the Drawing and Erasing tools to increase erasing accuracy and improve performance.
New in 1.1.0 When browsing a document:
Tapping within the document no longer selects the entire text of the document
It's now easier to scroll through a document without accidentally editing it
More fixes and changes will be coming as we continue to listen to your feedback, address newly revealed bugs, and work on additional features.
The next big change we are currently working on will be a complete overhaul to the drawing/erasing backend that will bring far more refined and accurate drawing and erasing.
Note On Saving Campaigns
Please note that you must install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable in order to create save files, which steam should be installing automatically alongside the game. If for some reason it did not install, or the installation was canceled, please download and install it here:
