Infinity Wars: Animated Trading Card Game

[Patch Notes] Version 1.4.7

Hello everyone,

Today at Midnight IWT we'll be taking the servers down briefly for maintenance while we patch to version 1.4.7 in preparation for the upcoming major patch cycle.

Here are the notes for todays' update:

  • Fixed Demon of the Dark Bargain not reducing bonus resources from sources such as Wealthy Noble.
  • Fixed cards under some circumstances being revealed to the opponent while being drawn from the deck.
  • Blood Crazed Initiate now properly transforms into Bloodthirst X. Previously would always transform into a Bloodthrirst 4 if X was less than 4, which was not intended.
  • Blood Crazed Initiate transformed state is now properly affected by +/- Power and Health Buffs (e.g. Rakarl)
  • Updated Mega Unit 01's text to clarify that you cannot make enemy characters its pilot.
  • Updated Aleta's Discovery's flavor text to say "nevertheless" rather than the old english "nethertheless".
  • Fixed Jinhai Dojo not being able to be activated when the player has exactly 3 resources.
  • Fixed Flux Capacitor not being able to be activated when the player has exactly 2 resources.
  • Fixed an interesting interaction with Zuza and Secluded Constructor where it was possible for Secluded Constructor to sacrifice a character taken by by the enemy's Zuza.
  • Luftkrieg XI Anti-Air Array should now properly only proc off of combat damage.
  • Tweaked how new players are matched together during unranked constructed games, so that it is more consistent.
  • By default, new players now only get matched up with other new players. New players can choose to also be matched up against any players if they wish.
  • Fixed a bug that would sometimes stop a new music track from being played during a match.
  • Music volume now lowers when a voice over is playing.
  • While in the match result screen, the opponent will automatically have a tab available to chat to them.
  • Chat box now scrolls to the bottom the first time you open it.
  • Added Enter Invite Code to Content Guide for players that are still level one and have not used a code yet.
  • Low end machines should no longer crash immediately upon opening the game because of the loading screen, as the game will detect that their system doesn't meet the specs for it.
  • Added a confirmation dialog when leaving the campaign map.

There have been quite a few bugs reported since this patch began work, so we have plenty of work ahead of us on other issues the game is facing and we thank everyone for their continued reports. They've been invaluable.

Please don't forget to report any issues you see to us, and any Output Logs or Game logs (whichever is applicable for the report) are GREATLY appreciated.

See you on the battlefield everyone!

Team Exhibition Match 6/20 Moose Stream

Hello everyone!

I'm pretty excited about this, I hope you are as well.

After a discussion amongst myself and Drewuniverse, we've come up with a tournament format that should be really fun and extremely competitive. Although it's been done plenty of times before, we've adapted some rules to suit the needs of Infinity Wars.

This Saturday on my stream at the usual time of 9pm IWT, we'll be doing an Exhibition match of a Team Tournament format.

The format is Teams of 3 going head to head in a gauntlet-style elimination match. Here are the rules:

*Teams will consist of 3 players, set in a specific order of Leadoff, Mid, and Anchor.

*The matches will be Best of 3, and be gauntlet progression. Meaning the Leadoff will face the Leadoff, and whichever leadoff wins will then face the Mid of the opposing team, so on so forth until an entire team has been eliminated.

*Oppression is legal for this tournament.

*Teams must have Decks pre-made and set prior to entering their elimination round. Teams may change decks between rounds, but not during a match. Meaning that the 3 players must have their decks set in stone prior to entering their gauntlet matches, they cannot change decks while the team is competing during a round.

*Rounds are Single Elimination, so once a team is knocked out they're done.

For this exhibition we've brought together 2 teams of some of the best players Infinity Wars has to offer for your viewing pleasure.

TEAM METASHIFT GAMING

Prozac, Manchy, and Adorabear

TEAM OTKO

MerliniX, HeliosAFlame, and Logadd

The order the players will be playing in for their teams will not be revealed until the exhibition starts, for the sake of competition.

I'm very excited to bring this to Infinity Wars, and I hope this will ignite the competitive edge in players once we open this format up.

Stream starts at 9pm IWT, matches probably won't start until 10pm IWT.

Oppression Spoiler-A-Thon

Infinity Warriors,

Oppression Pre-Orders end on June 13th, so you don't have much time left to get in before the bonuses and rewards go away!

Now there's always one burning question...."Why should I Pre-Order?"

Well, let us show you. You'll of course want the bonuses and rewards as those are exclusive to the pre-orders, but, the meat of the story is the cards. What is a card game without the cards afterall?

Join us live on Twitch TV Tuesday, June 9th at 9pm IWT (Usual stream time) for a live Playtest of Oppression with the Infinity Council. We'll be talking about, and playing with, the upcoming Oppression expansion set.
