Hello, everybody! Today's update is for "The Descent". I felt it was a little repetitive, so I added some more variety into it. It used to be 4 levels of random gen halls/rooms with enemies scattered around (kill all enemies to advance to the next level), and then 1 big room with new weapons and big wave of enemies. But now, there are 2 more types of levels.
- Alarm level. Enemies will constantly spawn on this level. Get to the elevator at the end of the level as fast as you can before you are overwhelmed by the enemies.
- Survive level. Somewhat large room full of obstacles/cover. Survive the wave of enemies. When the wave is over, you can advance to the next level.
I also added in another "big room" at level 40. And if you reach level 40, you get the "Heavy Rifle", the most powerful weapon in the game (not including cheat code weapons). If you reach this level, you also unlock the new cheat code I added, which will allow you to have the heavy rifle in any campaign level (rather than just the final level).
Also, I fixed the co-op for "The Descent" (which broke after the recent 4 player update).
I hope you all enjoy the update, and let me know if you find any bugs!
Co-op now expanded to 4 players.
Hey, everyone.
I've had a few people request that I up the co-op from 2 players to 4. You asked, so I delivered.
I had to reprogram a lot of the game logic to work for 4 people, so if you try it out, let me know if you find any bugs.
Also fixed a lot of other bugs and made some improvements to Robotics, Cave, and Bio lab.
Thanks everybody!
Bug fixes coming soon.
Thank you everybody who has notified me about bugs. I am working on bug fixes as fast as I can. Expect an update tomorrow with a ton of fixes, as well as patches the following few days as well.
If you find any bugs, just leave a comment and let me know.
Thank you for playing!
New update! Mouse / keyboard mode and 4 new guns.
Hey, everyone! Sorry this update took so long. Adding the M/KB mode and making it work alongside of the VR player took a long time.
Want to play co-op, but none of your friends have a VR headset? Too chicken to play the dark levels alone? Well, now you can have a friend/sibling/lover/hooker play co-op with you on a flat monitor with the new mouse / keyboard mode! M/KB mode will launch automatically if you don't have a VR headset connected, or you can switch to M/KB by pressing the spacebar in the lobby.
4 new guns!
- Burst fire pistol (for when the starting pistols just aren't cutting it anymore and you've stored a lot of pistol ammo).
- Low RoF SMG with a larger magazine and very low recoil (for the more deliberate among us).
- Sniper rifle. Powerful semi-auto rifle with a zoomable holo-projection sight.
- Laser Sniper rifle. Extremely powerful semi-auto laser rifle with a zoomable holo-projection sight. Uses a large amount of energy cells.
Lots of bug fixes and some optimizations. A huge thank you to anyone who has sent me bug reports! The campaign is relatively long and it takes a very long time to retest the entire campaign every time I make an update, so your help is very much appreciated.
Inhumanus is 50% off right now ($7.50). Every sale helps me out a lot and allows me to put more time into improving this game, and finishing up my other game in development.

Thank you for your support, and let me know if you have any issues or suggestions!
Have fun!
New FINAL Level "Destruction"!
-The final level "Destruction" is now complete! The level also contains a new enemy.
-You can now have your belt guns appear by your hand when you click the selector button. You can change this on your watch under "Gun Belt Mode".
Extra movement options have been added, including:
- Move Direction: Changes whether trackpad movement is based on the direction of your hand, or the direction your head is facing.
- Trackpad Turn: Allows the ability to turn using your dominant hand's trackpad. Has the option for either incremental or continuous turn;
- Trackpad Turn Speed: Slow, medium, or high.
We hope you all the final level and these extra options! Let us know if there are any bugs, or if you have any suggestions.
New Level "Mech"!
Hey, everybody! Today we bring you a new level, "Mech"!
Take control of a mech suit and mow down hoards of enemies. The mech suit comes with 2 machine gun hand (each hand with 2 types of machine guns), and a missile launcher on each shoulder.
You might find this level pretty challenging, but once you die and respawn a few times, you will hopefully develop a strategy that will lead you to victory.
Here are some screenshots. For some reason, the screen capture didn't get the whole cockpit. I also left out the end of the level (don't want to spoil anything).

We will be adding the final level within the next few weeks, which will completely end the campaign. We are also considering upping the co-op from 2 players to 4 player, as well as adding a PvP mode. So stay tuned!
Tomorrow, I will be releasing a quick update to add some extra polish to the level that I didn't get a chance to include in this update, as well as fixes for any bugs that I find. Let me know if you find any.
Remember, Inhumanus is 50% and the sale ends today!
Sorry this update took a lot longer than I thought it would. It's been a very crazy summer! I hit a big milestone in my life (lets just say, the Goose is no longer flying solo).
Anyway, this update brings a new level!
- Landing Bay. This level is pretty long and includes 3 new enemies (2 were already introduced in The Descent, and 1 is a brand new miniboss). This is an endgame level, so expect it to be quite challenging.
- The Decent now supports co-op. There may be a few bugs here and there, but we will test and fix anything we find ASAP.
- Added some new sounds to certain enemies and interactions (for example, when you take out a new mag and reload).
- Added some extra lore tablets.
- The cheat code room is now open at the beginning of the game (it used to open after beating the game). We did this so that you will know to start collecting the secret objects right away on your first play through.
- Fixed a bunch of multiplayer bugs.
We will be adding 2 more levels to completely finish the campaign.
Also, for anyone who prefers to do their battling in a dome, I'm pleased to announce that I've begun work on Battle Dome 2! And to celebrate, the original Battle Dome is 80% off.
Thank you for your patience and support, everybody! Let me know if there are any bugs.
New Mode "The Descent"
Hello, everybody! Today we bring you a big update with our new mode "The Descent". The perfect mode for those who need a break from the campaign and crave some action.
- "The Descent". The test of a true space marine. No story, just combat. Delve lower and lower into the facility filled with beasts, robots, and mutants. Earn more powerful weapons and face more fearsome foes as you progress deeper. Each level is randomly generated and features 5 different themes with matching enemies. The descent features 15 of the game's weapons and 22 of the game's enemies.
For now, The Descent is single player only, but we will be adding coop shortly. We will also be adding a special new gun that can be unlocked if you progress far enough. Expect the next update shortly.
Other additions/changes in this update include
- 2 new enemies! The "Seeker" drone which fires homing bullets which can be shot out of the air, and the "Shredder" drone that constantly fires a large amount of slow, inaccurate bullets.
- Made the colliders on some of the guns a bit larger so reloading is easier.
- Made easy and normal mode a little bit easier.
- Made the voice of the Drone companion in campaign and the voices of other players in coop a little louder so you can hear each other better during gunfights.
We hope you all enjoy the update! Let us know what you think of The Descent, as well as the campaign. We are constantly trying to improve and fix any issues that arise.
Here are some screenshots of the new mode / the two new drones.

Also, remember, Inhumanus is currently 34% off on Steam! Grab it before the sale ends!
- The save system is now more traditional, with 4 save files that you can switch between (rather than the old system where each difficulty level was it's own save file). This will allow players to switch between difficulties without losing their progress and having to replay previous levels. The save files now also store level progress / secret collectible progress, so each save file is now completely separate.
- Lighting fixes and improvements for a few levels (fixed issue where the entire surface of certain objects would light up all at once).
- Redid some of the beginning to Level 6 (Containment) to make it more atmospheric.
- Some bug and level fixes.
New update! Difficulty changes + new level!
Hey, everyone! Today we bring you a new update. This update was supposed to come out a week ago, but we have had some major technical difficulties which have been sucking up a lot of our time. Fortunately, everything is running smoothly now and we are back to work!
There are a few more levels that we want to add to the game, and rather than making it a separate DLC, we have decided to just add them right into the base game. Today we bring you the first new level! We won't go much into the details of the new levels because we don't want to spoil any of the plot.
- New level: Space. In this level, you will be piloting a small space ship (fighter). You can find some screenshots on the steam page (linked below)
- Difficulty mode changes. Many people have been complaining that the game modes are too hard, so we decided to make some big changes.
: The old normal mode is now hard mode.
: The old easy mode is now the default normal mode.
: There is now a new easy mode that is much easier than the old one.
- Added extra checkpoints to certain levels (mostly the beginning levels). We are still testing and evaluating the later levels to find a good balance between challenge and checkpoints.
- Game options (like difficulty) are now saved and are auto loaded when the game starts
- There are now markings on each level to show which difficulty each level has been completed on.
- Each difficulty now uses it's own save file (this will prevent easy saves where players have tons of ammo from overwriting hard/hardcore playthroughs, and vice versa).
- Added some extra tablets to help give more backstory to the plot.
Also, we are working on a new single player / co-op mode that is separate from the campaign. It will be more focused on combat/action. Expect it soon!
We hope that you all enjoy! Let us know if you find any bugs.
