The wait is over. Three years later, Waffles is finally back in a new retro adventure.🐱🕵️

1.0.3.4: Pepper is a dog, finally! (And other minor fixes)
Hi everyone,

Two new little things:
* You can now wishlist Early Days, the Inspector Waffles' prequel, in game
* Game should adapt better to uncommon resolution

And a couple of bugs fixed:
* Pepper was a dog in one dialog, a cat in another. Thanks Broomcolate for that, he is now fully a dog.
* Just a couple of little changes in dialogs that nobody will notice, but will help better to link to Early Days story ;)
* A couple of typos in french, as usual.

Inspector Waffles Early Days is a new game for PC in a retro pixel art style, and it's the prequel of this Inspector Waffles game. It will be released in 2024.


This time, follow Waffles in his first days as a Inspector and prove to everyone that you are more than just a rookie. Find clues, report to your partner and solve cases!


  • Top-down adventure game with point-and-click mechanics, inspired by the classic Gameboy games like Pokemon and Zelda.
  • 5 Full cases to solve! Bank heist, arson, robbery, murder... Something for every taste!

1.0.3.3: vSync, workshop updates
Hi everyone,

One new feature!
* Now you can choose if you want to add vSync or not to the game. By default, it's desactivated.

And a couple of bugs fixed:
* One dialog when you click on Meatballs' picture in Patches' office wasn't showing. It's fixed.
* Chinese font was a bit blurry and wasn't well readable. It's updated.
* New mod texts: vSync and one character's name I forgot to add :)

1.0.3.2: Steamdeck video compatibility and localization mod fixes
Hi everyone,

Officially, Inspector Waffles is fully compatible on Steam Deck, but even with the last updates, videos didn't work correctly. It should be fixed now.

Some mods minor bugs have been fixed too. All characters for japanese, korean and chinese alphabets should appear correctly now.
