Added ability to go back to main menu from lobby menu so you can now exit the game
Update 9/2/15 Servers
I have updated the servers to allow Users to play with any user online. I have also setup Cloud Servers for a temporary fix to the servers being down.
Servers Are Live
You can now join and play the game only can have 20 players online at one time till we get it updated. But just wanted to get servers up so you could at least play the game.

Bad News
Looks like the New management has fallen through
Today I have received a message from the new head saying that the project was suspended and that he had been hacked.
after a small conversation we had, I told him I would fully take over the project and he seemed fine with this, then when I requested the details to get steamworks ownership (as we are very close to a build and I need that to distribute) he had removed me from the steamworks page and blocked me on skype.
I am trying to contact him still to figure out WTF happened but until then it looks like BeDaGame studio staff are going to be back on full dev with our original Project Urban Battlefront (UB).
We apologize for this stirrup and will honor all owners of ITW’s purchases when UB is ready for launch

- Finished setting up temporary placeholder weapon animations (converted from FPS banana for testing purposes only. Won't be in any open to public builds. )
- Prototype Login and menu screens completed
- Prototype player models set up (thanks to mixamo character warehouse. Won't be in final release)

I thought that it would be a good idea to create a blog so you guys can keep up with development in the game. like what we are doing some of the milestones and roadblocks we come across and just general keeping you the community member in the loop
We will try our hardest to post these on Fridays and will try to hold Twitch.TV live-streams for Q and A every now and again
Week 2 status
Current Game status
Prototype: 40% (Prototype will contain unity assets to cover missing resources, and will be missing some if not most of the planned features for final release)
Alpha: Planned for August (Will be semi-Private, open to anyone who purchased the game)

We have completed a very early build of the prototype.
It has a very basic Hud and is using 90% art assets from market places’
once we have finished a few of the maps we will make a release of the prototype available for anyone who has purchased the OG game. (Due to its closed status we may use some non-commercial Placeholders for test purposes only and they will be removed before public release)
Notes:
Started from scratch with the new game to remove any potentially illegal content from the old team’s build
Currently working on optimization for lower end systems

Rebuilt Jetpack system but it will be map limited (you’ll see why in a later update)

New Management Update
As most of you know Small Town studios was taken over by WiKD Flash and is getting a whole new team behind it. well after a nice long conversation with the new owner BeDa Game Studios feels that he is going in the right direction and has the community's best interests at heart so we will be joining them and heading up the quality control section as well.
I know a lot of you have some bad blood with the project and that is understandable but we are hoping that after showing you quality updates and lots of content we will prove you you that we are capable of repairing the unity asset riddled mess that was the original “Into The war”
A lot of you are wondering what we have in store for Into The Wars future and every thing here is planned but may not be seen in the initial release so please bear with us.
We are planning the following:
New name. We plan on changing the games lackluster name to fit the new teams plans for the game.
New Theme. A lot of the mechanics in the game where fun and if used properly they can be amazing but we can’t keep all the mechanics the way they were and still have it be a modern war shooter so we are planing on making it more of a space shooter in the likes of Halo.
New Price. We are hoping to have 2 versions of the game that will work together a Free to Play base version and a Premium version with a lot of extra features
Vehicular combat. We love buggies you love buggies why not work on adding buggies
Single player. seriously again how was this not in the OG release
Severely updated Netcode
Level Editor. Listen level creation is hard so we will try our best but if its not good enough why not give it a shot in the in game level creator we are working on and hell we might add it to the official rotation
Bots. I know playing with people is fun but sometimes its good just to REKT the PC in some great combat
Tons of new features. We are planing on making this game more fully featured. this will involve a ton of additions to the game such as: Class building, Proper loadouts, Weapon customization, Weapon pickup (like seriously how was this not in the OG release), Multiplayer announcer, Custom games, Competitive leaderboards, Community driven events,, Community based updates and much much more
All in all just stay tuned because with both the new teams working on this we should have one hell of a game
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
Into The War was a flop, a let down a disaster I know, but I wanted to let you all know I will be taking over Into The War with a new quality team. I am going to turn this game around and I hope that you will give me a chance. Its going to take some time to repair the damage here and I dont have the authority to tell what happened to the dev team so please bear with me as I work on getting ITW into a functional state over the next few weeks.
